Ariant Quest 'Mission Complete!' bugged (Resolved, stupidity on my part)

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:

In the quest 'Mission Complete!', you obtain a Tigun Transformation Bundle that you have to use before talking to Karcasa in order to obtain Queen's Silk from him. The thing is, every time I try to use the bundle, I take about 270+ damage from out of nowhere immediately afterwards, thus canceling the effects of the transformation, rendering the quest impossible to complete.

I ended up forefitting and re-accepting the quest three times, and all three times the given bundle inflicts damage upon use.

If it matters, I'm a Level 76 Wild Hunter.

Do you get hit by the rabbits on the way? Because I just completed the quest on my Battlemage. Try using the potion on the rope below Karcasa.

You're supposed to use the potion out of sight from Karcasa.

What I'd always do is transform in the map in the portal to the right of him, then re-enter his map and talk to him.

I jus use it right beside karcasa, and it works. I was a wild hunter also, at about that level. I wonder what the problem is.

Hm, pretty strange. On previous characters I could use it right next to him with no problems. I wonder what's the issue this time...

The problem was actually the fact that you were never supposed to be able to use it right next to him in the first place. The quest even tells you that, and that's why if you try to use it near him you take damage instantly because he saw you.
