Stuck on Maker Quest

So I have spoken to the first two npc's required for the, "Morens New Discovery" quest and now I'm standing in front of Hughes, the last npc I have to speak to, and all he brings up is his lv. 60 quest.

Do I need to reach lv. 60 and complete this quest or did I miss something?

Hughes' s Hobby is a completely different quest, so something seems to be off. I don't have a character in that range that doesn't have maker yet post-BB so I couldn't tell you what's wrong.

If there's no way to resolve this, no new players will have access to maker and there'd definitely be a need for mass bug reports.

It worked for me, maybe try to drop the quest and pick it up agian? Lot of traveling but its my only idea.

I had no problem completing it at level 48 on El Nido, I guess you need to restart the quest in Magatia :/

I probably should have posted this first, but I initially forfeited the quest after speaking with the first two npc's a long time ago mostly because I didn't want to travel all the way to the bottom of the Orbis Tower. I restarted the quest just recently so I'm thinking the same thing will happen here.

I'll try it one more time though to be sure.

...At least I can do the evolving ring quest as I'm doing this =/

I literally just did the quest and it's working just fine. =| A shame you have to repay 10,000 mesos (I think?) as well as redo your trips.

^Well when I restarted the quest, the Carson and Moren parts were already completed so I didn't have to pay their fees again.

But yeah the trips are killing me, especially since the only speed boosting skill I have is Nimble Feet.
