Please feel free to post updates and ideas, note people who've been omitted or who's information has changed. Levels and rank are being automatically determined by a watcher process that updates everyone in the list daily and sorts them according to both level and currently published XP for those who are tied.

Updates are now scheduled for daily. Data below is current through 8/22/2009.
I don't want to hear any complaints about the legitimacy of any person on this list. If you have proof, submit it to MapleNOOBS (http://www.mapletowers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page). I am not a GM, and I am not the IL Police. If you PM me someone who has been banned from ranks or has been accepted as an offender by MapleNOOBS they will be banned from this list.


As of 4/21/2009 I am no longer tracking HT pendants or Blizz30. Recent events & changes have eliminated these as any degree of achievement, much like zhelms.

You're not the same class as me and you're not leveling under the same time constraints I am, so your accomplishments are meaningless. If they somehow excite you that you have the time to spend 12 hours a day for a whole month grinding mindlessly that's wonderful. Whatever gets you through the day and makes you happy.

Didn't magically make me respect you, or care even the slightest bit more about you. I was referring when I was actively training and had the NX to do so (also including the 16 times I got to 80% of 167 and died back to 0%).

I'm not some 25+ year old who can afford mass amounts of NX and marijuana. One or the other, yo.

It's easy enough to get 20 million exp an hour.

20 x 12 = 240 mil exp a day

240 x 7 = 1680 mil exp a week

1680 x 4 = 6720 mil exp a month

Excuse the poor wording, but it's not worth going through the effort of actually properly typing the amounts out here.

Of course it is, you're talking to someone who gets about 25m an hour.

The point however, is that you already have to be fairly high level to do it consistently, and were he capitalizing on his currrent high level to do so, he would be higher.

This debate is entirely off topic and all it's accomplishing is validating his ego by having people talk about him, and around him.

Since the web-rankings are stable again, even if the in-game rankings are not, I've reactivated this process.

As it now states, updates will be twice a week so it'll have a weekend report/beginning and midweek results.

Active/Inactive is now determined by whether or not your XP or Level have changed at all in 30 days. Sorry those of who you just login to socialize; from a ranking perspective you're not active.

Ebony is the only one of us near 200, but yes, I've already considered the fact that 200's don't change level or XP, when she hits 200 she'll actually be kept in a whole new section of the page that shows who hit 200 in what order. At that point everyone else effectively moves up 1 in the ranking because much like an inactive, a 200 is no longer "in the competition" as it were.

Botting is fairly hard to prove via 3rd party, as it were, especially for AMs since we tend to grind in zombie mode any way.

Generally to remove someone from the list you have to successfully submit a MapleNoobs report (http://www.mapletowers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) then PM me about your submission. Note that's PM, not reply to the thread because that sort of drama doesn't need to be (more) public.

Because it updates automatically and without me checking it every hour I have no way of knowing if the rankings are broken and it's just re-retrieving the same info over and over and it takes more effort to turn off the automatic update than to just let it keep going reposting the same version of the truth the rest of the world sees anyway.

American is not the demonym your culture uses to identify yourself, you're a Dominican. A resident of Mexico is a Mexican, a resident of Canada is a Canadian, et al. The only specific country that uses the term American by itself as a noun is for a citizen of the United States of America, because there is no other country in the Americas that actually has the name "America" in it.
