Honestly it isn't unless you're planning to abuse it. Shouldn't be an issue anyway because normal people have to pay for each name change, but who knows maybe someone might have a lot of money to spend.

(Thanks, Eosian. I had my fun but I suppose it could've gotten out of hand.)

Well, I know the size in pixels. I mean in terms of whatever unit the forum font size uses. As of right now, I don't think it's possible to emulate that size with the BB code we have, but I wanted to make sure. It seems to be between 2 and 3.

Thanks anyway though.

test

The size tag uses HTML <font> tags which were deprecated 12 years ago. In Chromium, size=2 is 13px and size=3 is 16px, so yes it would be between 2 and 3, closer to 3.

It's not. vBulletin shouldn't even be using those font sizes but its font bbcode is entirely deprecated.

I took it off anyway because it still seemed a bit off to me. Mistyrose may have looked better, since it's a bit lighter and seems more subtle, but too late to see now.

If you want to play with the colors you should use one of the browsers that lets you tweak the page and experiment. Opera let's you do it from View Source, Chrome lets you do it from Inspect Element, I'm sure other browsers have their own ways too.

Thanks. For outlined font, all you'd need to do is edit the values of the text shadow into something similar to what I did in an earlier post. Just make sure to put a notice that you can only pick either glow or outline, since you can't have both of them simultaneously.

Best attempt at fulfilling this has been made. Countdown till everyone whines about only being able to do it in a single color begins now.

OH GOD BURN IT WITH FIRE WHO THE HELL WOULD THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA OH MY GOD ITS HORRENDOUS MY EYES ACTUALLY CAUGHT HURPIES.

seriously, WT'F man.

I actually picked a rather nice color for the background, as Eos pointed out earlier, though it wasn't quite what I wanted. I can tell you that it's not too bad so long as the color isn't horrible. I'd show you, but I need a few hundred more karma to get the amount needed for another background change. Pastel colors work rather nicely, in my opinion.

This is the color I plan to use if I ever get the extra few hundred points (I never purchased any to begin with, actually). Does this look like a bad background color?

I'd probably change the text color to go a bit better with it too. Though, I don't wanna modify my stuff too much. I just want something that pleases my eyes when I read my own posts and such. I never really liked messing with font colors and such, so dunno if I'd actually go through with doing it.

Nah, don't really like how the combination of that looks. Keeping my font black may work well, unless I find a nice shade I was missing before that works well with the background. Meh, nothing I care too much about, but I certainly hope nobody picks a combination like Waffles.

Your wish has been granted.
Was only doable because the Font Selection template is unique. All the glows and colors share the same screen so trying to make it understand what you're trying to colorize will be a monstrous nuisance for later.

By clicking "Yes" where it says "Refund: Yes" on the item description before you enter to purchase.

Opera's giving me problems with the dropdown colour menus... I can't see any of the colours except the first one until I do voodoo.

Anyway, for the background-color ones it'd be neat if it would use a colour of your choice for the words in the colour menu (so you can see how it performs)

I did this myself by going into the source and writing

Code:
---------
<select style="color:#a000e0" name="color">
---------
Since obviously I wanted to test it with the colour I post with.

They already have it, opera doesn't support background colors in selects very well. Look via Chrome or another browser that does.

I've added a super-preview-sample functionality to all font pages.

This may be a tad bit late to bring up, but I feel as if editing the background color of the userinfo rather than the postbody would be less obnoxious in most cases. It may also prevent people from using strange color combination for their username in an attempt to pick a color they like while making sure it's actually visible on the current background color. Stopped being lazy and testing some stuff out client side, and I found that some colors that would look horrible in the postbody don't really bother me as much if it's just shifted over to the userinfo instead. That's not to say they still aren't painful to look at, but at least they seem to fit more with the post.
