Diablo 3 coming out soon!

I believe Blizzard announced that Diablo 3 is soon to be released. But knowing Blizzard, this wont come out for another 2 years or so, hence Starcraft 2. Anyone hyped up about this?

This is definitely going to be a game to watch. I loved Diablo II LoD and everything that it had to offer. I'm sure with an enhanced system and more party options it can only get better.

I never played Diablo 2, but Diablo 3 looks like it is going to be awesome. I will definitely buy it when it comes out, which probably won't be for a long time.

Because Witch Doctor reminds me way too much of DotA, and being reminded of DotA is an instant fail.

I think a lot of people in the D3 Battle.net forums complained in the lack of "dark and gloominess", which was evident when they made comparisons and showed images of what the scenes should look like. When I saw the images and their user edits I actually saw where they were coming from. Sadly, the graphics were a bit on the low side as well. Of course, these are all working values and could change over the course of the year. I just hope Blizzard addresses the issue mainly of having it too "colorful and bright" for an undead and demons hack and slash game.

I don't know if you'll need THAT godly of a computer for this game. From the gameplay videos it didn't look too graphics-intensive.

I guess, only if slightly, but if you take closer looks at the rendered images they used in maps (ex. the gryphon statue), the quality isn't so eye-popping as it should be for a 3rd-gen game.

Ugh, people that said the game is too dark need to shut up, the artistic direction of the game was perfectly fine. The graphics look quite insane and I'd imagine it will need a higher end graphics card... From what I've played of WoW this looks much better artistically and I know Diablo 2's game play is better than WoW so they really cannot mess this up ~ (or SC2 for that matter).
