I remember back at sw, when the limit is reached, the post would just delete itself (at least, that's what I think the problem was). I came across this problem when many people would ask me (when I was moderator) how they can update their guides if the post keeps deleting itself. This was "fixed" by lowering the character limit to 200,000 characters per post.
My question is, is there something like that here?

The text that you have entered is too long (7991082 characters). Please shorten it to 200000 characters long.
Hehe, guess not =P
You just get a nifty error message, no post deletion. Then again, I didn't expect SP to take almost 8 million characters (I had spoiler tags, don't worry =])

What were you doing with 8 million characters of text, anyway?

Wouldn't some of the guides go over the 200000 character limit, or am I just woefully ignorant?

Is it 200,000 characters with just plain text or including html tags?

Everything.

Long guides use multiple posts.
Text is limited to 200k characters per post.
You may have an unlimited number of images per post.
