If Funimation Created Local Content....

Would you watch it? My friend does work and is going for school as a voice actress and mentioned that Funimation might be looking into creating local shows. So, again, would you watch it?

If it was decent animation and did not try to bring the normal characters sets you would expect a certain type of voice to and were to to have original content made to fit english voice acting, I would say it could be fairly interesting to see the outcomes of it.

As long as they didn't hand the thing over to 4kids after two seasons, sure.

4kids and funimation tend to hire really horrific voice actors. So I dunno... 95% of the time I watch series with japanese voice-overs now. :| Only tolerable english voice actors for me was with dragon ball z and the first few seasons of pokemon. But then again, that was when I was a kid and didn't really give a rat's ass so much. I'd probably kill myself if I rewatched dragon ball z now.I still think Pokemon's original VA's were pretty awesome. But... voice actors aside, funimation does take on pretty good series in general. So I'd probably give it a try.

The only FUNimation shows I like are DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo (though some of the voices didn't fit in my opinion), One Piece, and Case Closed. Everything else I either don't remember or they completely turned me off.

As long as the voices fit the character and their personality, I will watch it. But God help them if they switch voice actors to something totally uncalled for.
For example, the MAIN anime that i went wtp?! to was DBZ Kai....I absolutely cannot STAND Gohan's voice like that.
