So heres my question:

Does any bowmaster in KMST have a vid or screens from this skill?
Is there anyone who can tell me how the skill works in game?

So far I haven't seen any videos in English or Japanese KMST communities. This might have something to do with the range of the skill and its purpose.

If you've ever played an archer class you notice the only skill you can use when you have monsters on both sides of you in close proximity is arrow rain/eruption. If it's too weak to get rid of them, you have to move to a clearing on one side which may not even exist in crowded maps. You're then forced to use a fairly weak skill which endlessly attacks enemies which sometimes respawn faster than you get rid of them. To make matters worse you can't KB enemies constantly (because you end up taking more than six targets) and if you do, they will be KBed in one direction (against the direction you face) and will be forced into you. This could simply be solved by making monsters KB away from you regardless of the direction you're facing but then you wouldn't be able to mob across the screen. The solution was to have a skill which would knock monsters away from you, but not all the time.

Now consider a single mobbing instance with monsters on each side of the player. Ideally spamming arrow rain/eruption would be enough. When it isn't:

Crossbowmasters) Frostprey freezes one side, spam a single ice shot to the other, then spam (ultimate) strafe, piercing, snipe and/or arrow eruption. Alternatively you can move to one side (use puppet) and spam piercing.

Bowmasters) Power Knockback one side if necessary, spam hurricane. Alternatively move to one side (use puppet/bomb shot) and spam hurricane.

Here's the problem for BMs; while XBMs can use ice shot and frostprey for mob control on both sides at the same time, BMs are stuck with bomb shot (which only works 60% of the time). By the time you fully paralize one side the other would be up again. This leaves BMs to either spam hurricane while there's a flurry of attacks coming from both sides without being able to spam pots or move to one side and spam hurricane. Vengeance lets BMs do what CBMs do (but with lower certainty), control mobs from within a crowded area (something both BMs and CBMs have struggled with since the beginning of maple).

Of course with pet autopots these concerns are frivolous. This leads me to wonder if they're going to ban using autopot to evade potting restrictions...I hope not.

If they are giving bowmasters more mob control the least crossbowmasters can get is the ability to shoot piercing while being knocked off the ground slightly. More than once did I rage when being a millimeter off the ground prevented me from releasing the finishing blow.

You mean Dragon Breath?

They removed minimum range so I don't see why it's such a big deal to get mobs away from you anymore.

This.

... And wouldn't Vengeance be like a super version of an Aran's Body Pressure?

Think about it, Body pressure activates when you take touch damage, the enemy also takes damage and also inflicts a freeze effect.

Vengeance is about the same thing, only that it's like an invisible Explosion that stuns/pushes away 6 mobs hitting 500% of your max when one of them touches you.

In case you forgot, we are tied for the lowest HP of all classes and don't have the maneuverability/Dark Sight/avoid Thieves do to make up for their poor HP. As it is now, a split second of lag will kill me at Newts whereas a Warrior/Mage would definitely shrug it off and Thief will likely like through such an event too.

Not to mention DB/PKB gathers mobs, so I'm assuming Vengeance will help with that.

Being stuck between 2 mobs sucks balls. If that happens, i have to keep tanking damage = more pots = even worse off economically. I still can't take 2 hits from a skelegon even with 50 points into HP, a MoN, and a few other equips. Vengeance would be helpful if it knocked monsters in a single direction, but if it goes out to both sides, it's a little less useful.

No, power knockback. You can't use DB at zero to negative range right now. Post-BB if this becomes possible then there is no use having PKB.

There you go. Pushing a monster off you isn't going to do anything for your HP. Most high level monsters have ranged attacks. Minimum range doesn't exist for me as a Corsair, but I have still always wanted a rush-like skill. It's all about gathering mobs.

Any attack has a delay; touch damage do not. Not to mention vengeance knocks monsters out cold.
