Oh, hey, I wouldn't mind with that. I'd prefer something to tell appart shadowers and night lords, regarding flash jump and shadow partner, on their looks. But Shadow partner really needs to be close to mirror image, at least on the shape.

It's nice they're thinking about us (archers really), but I'm not liking the new strafe at this point. Hopefully I'll get used to it or it'll look better when animating with a character.

I believe so. The three elemental Big Bangs, Angel Ray, Chain Lightning, and perhaps Paralyze need to be updated for mages.

Perhaps they could make chain lightning resemble dark lightning from battle mages? :D

If they change the animation for one of us, it's changing for us both. We're counterparts, after all. I'm hoping for a red, black, or any dark color in general for Flash Jump. If they can change the animations for Hyper Body, Power Guard, and Holy Arrow I think there still might be a chance.

Tespia has higher exp/drop rates because it's a testing server, they took out the higher exp rates when they implemented the Big Bang exp reduction, but I guess it's back now.

Apparently there were minor booster changes to Arans and Evans. They give -2 speed from level 1-10 and -3 speed from 11-20 instead of just -3 speed at all levels.

The Aran booster was always that way, unless they changed it and then changed it back. And the Evan booster has been that way for a while now.

Joining the not so enthused crowd on strafe update, maybe if they tinted it a little blue or something to make it closer to what it looks like now I wouldn't think this way. Just too many yellow arrows as it stands now. Not to say that I want more of that red/pink crap that the warriors ended up with. Eruption is enough pink for me thanks :f7:.

Don't know how, but this made me think of an animation change I'd like to see as well. A new death animation for each monster in game under the categorization of overkill. Similar to the way the modified mobs die in the mass kill PQs. It would always be activated with snipe, and any other kill that did 75&#37; hp beyond the monster's max hp on the killing blow. What a great way to get dmg hoars to keep on spending. "Sure you can OKO them, but can you OKOKO them?"

This was half sarcasim, half seriousness.

The new Holy Arrow design will be more suitable to shift with current Angel ray design in 4th job since Angel Ray looks "weaker and more puny" than new Holy Arrow ._.

Made the .gif too fast, but you get the idea (I'll slow it down in a bit).

Ah, I haven't done much in the way of Wind Archers, so I didn't know this. That is what I would have liked it to look like, but I suppose we can't just go copying skills now can we :(

Ner inferno animation pl0x..

Mini-zakum fire gets pretty generic after a while.

Also a bigger hurricane animation would be great to. With feathers blowing in the breeze.
Give Brandish a better animation rather than a swish and flick.
Fire demon and ice demon need partical trails behind them.
Shadower skills are pretty straight forward. Except add a shade effect when they use dark sight + BS / assassinate
Paladin's blast needs particals with it's elemental animations.
Hunter's arrow bomb needs more "boom" with it's impact.
Sniper's blizzard needs froze particals
Battleship cannon needs to look like a cannon, and not triple throw with 5 marbles instead of cannon balls.
Triple throw needs to not look like L7.
I/L and F/p mages basicly need fire/ice particals with their skills, add burning and froztyness to their skills.

New strafe is cool I guess, but I don't understand why they would make a new animation for strafe or even holy arrow for that matter. I think that the new animation for strafe is better suited for Ultimate Strafe instead of copying the same animation while adding 2 extra arrows.

I never even knew they changed the Wind Archer strafe animation. Goes to show how uncommon Wind Archers are I guess..

Ner inferno animation pl0x..

Mini-zakum fire gets pretty generic after a while.

Also a bigger hurricane animation would be great to. With feathers blowing in the breeze.
Give Brandish a better animation rather than a swish and flick.
Fire demon and ice demon need partical trails behind them.
Shadower skills are pretty straight forward. Except add a shade effect when they use dark sight + BS / assassinate
Paladin's blast needs particals with it's elemental animations.
Hunter's arrow bomb needs more "boom" with it's impact.
Sniper's blizzard needs froze particals
Battleship cannon needs to look like a cannon, and not triple throw with 5 marbles instead of cannon balls.
Triple throw needs to not look like L7.
I/L and F/p mages basicly need fire/ice particals with their skills, add burning and froztyness to their skills.

You forgot snipe, which is perhaps one of the most bland looking skills in the game.

On the same note Nexon doesn't really have any color coordination. The one thing I never liked about crossbow masters (besides being a lolclass) is the pink arrow eruption. Every other skill is either blue or gold-based yet this one skill is pink. Bothered me quite a lot when I was in third job spamming pink arrows all over the place :(

I kid, though I do like how the other guy recolored them. They do look fantastic. This actually makes me curious as to why Nexon picks certain colors for certain things..

That Strafe Animation is hawt <3

Although I'd prefer the blue one (BLUUUUUE <3) it makes sense that Rangers/Xbowmen get yellow purely because it matches their Soul Arrow the same way Wind Archers' blue Strafe matches their deliciously blue soul arrow...

I'm hoping for a lot more animation changes though. Even if its purely aesthetic, visual changes add something new to the playing experience.

Mastery determines your minimum range. If you have a maximum range of 1000 and you have a total mastery of 65&#37; (15% basic from, let's say, a bow, and 50% from the Mastery skill). Minimum range(post big bang) will be Maximum * mastery, so 1000*0.65=650. The total mastery for mechanics with Metal Armor: Extreme is 70%+15%(70% from skill(Metal Armor: Extreme adds 20% mastery on top of the 50% of the 2nd job mastery skill) , 15% from gun) which is 85%. If a Mechanic has a maximum range of 1000 it's minimum range would be 850.

I like the new animations, although Holy Arrow needs more holyness. I'd love to see the new animations in action. Hopefully they change Blast and Thunder Spear back to 1 hit or change the animations some more(bigger sparks from Thunder Spears hit effect and maybe change Blast to look like a drill).
