Guild Name

Our guild name, VincitOmnia, means: ‘to conquer all,’ and is derived from the Latin phrase: “amor vincit omnia,” which means “love conquers all.”

Red rose symbolizes love and passion, and therefore it was chosen to go along with the meaning of the guild name and its derivation.
The vision of this guild is to be a nice, active, tight, and strong guild. The maximum number of members is and will be 35, minus my Bishop since I can’t expel myself out of it and interchange characters… <_<

Rules and Honor

The rules and expectations of VO are outlined on our forums, and a direct copy/paste is as follows:

In any and all circumstances:
1. No hacking. Members caught hacking or partied with hackers will be expelled immediately and on the spot. No KSing hackers either while they are still on the map and hacking.
2. No scamming. Same punishment as above.
3. No looting others - anyone, especially guildmates. One time warning, and then expel if second time. If you loot a Zakum Helmets or such important group effort items = instant expulsion unless compensated towards that group.
4. No putdowns of guildmates. One time warning for whoever instigated the situation and/or at fault, and then explusion for any offenses after. If it's clearly a joke, and both sides accept the incident as such, then no action will be taken.
In general, you may not:
1. Kill steal (KS) anyone, including hackers. If and only if a legit player attempts to steal your map/channel, then you may KS. In such circumstances, the guild will gladly join in for a can of whoopass as well. =] KS wars are not allowed unless the person you are helping has the right to the map/channel first. KSing is NOT justified upon new release of content where 98% of the population in MS suddently turn into KSing asses and disregard other players. We're VO, and this is the honor and etiquette we are to follow.
2. Mass defame - no mass defaming anyone unless they did something that REALLY deserves it. e.g. scam, hack, spot stealing in FM, bot, mass defame you.
3. Spam in guild chat - it's annoying. Three times of the same idea at most is all it needs to get someone's attention. If no one responds, then just drop it.
Required:
1. Respect one another. Even if you think some of us may be annoying at times (even me, I know), respect is still required. Talk, discuss, and argue in a civilized manner, I know you all can.
2. Respect other players. Treat others like how you want to be treated - enough said.

1. Talk! Get to know one another, let others know you. No one is the center of the guild, not even me. If you want to organize an event or plan something, go for it! If you want to talk about something controversial, no one will stop you. Again, as long as you keep discussion civilized and respectful (i.e. when talking about sensitive things such as sex or religion, do not pervert the subject or say things that would offend anyone), then all discussions are allowed, unless otherwise stated.
2. Party! Have fun with each other. We are all here because we're friendly and have played this game long enough to be able to be here all together. Try out new training spots, methods, and hang out with other people. =]
3. Help each other out when you can - if anyone needs help with anything and it's in your ability and convenience to do it, why not? It helps us all feel good and like you, and we'll all be more likely to help you when you need it.
4. Follow guild rules...and common sense! If I or a Jr. Master asks you to do something specific in regards to your behavior, there is probably a good reason behind it. It might not be clear, but If you wish to question the reasoning, then please take it to whispers.
5. Be responsible of your actions and act responsible! If you get scammed or hacked, we can/might help, but you need to acknowledge every responsibility you have and how your actions may impact anyone and everyone in any situations.

Events and Partying

We tend to do things (i.e. giving FM spots, mass fames, training, questing) specific to guild only, that is, we are usually involved with our guild members more often than buddies.
APQ and GPQ are done as often as possible whenever enough people are online. Therefore, the timing is up to you. Prearranged GPQs, usually on weekends, are done when enough people confirm for a specific time. GPQs are done in fashion either with CB or without. VincitOmnia has killed Ergoth numerous times by brute force (which resulted in far less GP (400-500 each GPQ as opposed to 1k). ~_~)
Papulatus runs are done whenever possible. Pianus runs are more reserved and rarer as I mostly solo due to lack of DKs.
Zakum runs are done on a bi-weekly basis at the moment - frequency can vary with apple supplies/donations.
Our guild tend to stick to Hime and Skelegons. We don't Jr. Newtie much at this moment due to the jobs in guild (Heros, Paladins, Bishops mainly).
I and a few guildies are also quest whores, so feel free to join if you are into quests and the MapleSTORY!

If you choose to join VincitOmnia, please keep in mind that you are joining a group of people that are already rather familiar with and trusting of each other. However, please do not be discouraged to speak out and get to know everyone else and let us know you. The guild is made up of everyone; not one person; not one group. Below is what’s expected if you want to join us.
Requirements:

[+] Active (at least 5 times a week 1-2 hours+ a day)
[+] Talkative…and not a mute!
[+] Friendly and nice
[+] Legit
[+] Mature enough to be able to deal with many different types of situations.
Class preferences:
Since we are doing Zakum runs, the new members will need to be a bit class specific. We have room for any of the following:
