View Full Version : Lukless Magicians, Free AP resets, Big Bang

My question concerns a topic that discusses any magician's fate after the big bang, Luk-wise. There are those who say we need regular luk (level + 3), and others who say it isn't as bad as they say. I did a bit of searching but could not find any concrete or solid idea of how much Luk a magician would need to be sound accuracy-wise.
Since we now have 20 free AP resets (I couldn't figure Nexon's thinking for giving us this before the overhaul), I'd like to use them, if necessary, to swap INT for LUK. At the same time I am skeptical, I don't want to loose Base INT because of false rumors.
Note: I currently have 47 total Luk with equipment and Mw20.
Thanks in advance.

Starting with this (http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=29469&p=494934&viewfull=1#post494934) post, a small discussion of this has started. I'd read over that.
When in doubt, go *less. It's a hell lot easier to pump 50 LUK than it is to reset 20. Unless Nexon makes these resets a habit, but I doubt that.

Resetting my luk to 103, and with that i can still wear 163 staves
With the SP resets, i was thinking about taking away 10 points from max composition and adding it into resistance. At least that will do me more good then lolcompo.
lvl 10 is 50% less damage to fire/poison attacks. Pretty nifty if you ask me :]

@ Hazzy, mind showing me the thread's link?
Also, what do you mean by pumping Luk? I do not plan to level my AM anymore.

I'd also like to hear more about this from someone with knowledge from KMS.
Well, with the way that M.ATT works now surely elemental staves are a great option for Arch Mages... but what's the best bet for a Bishop?
a) 120 equips with potential scrolling
b) Level 77 Maple Staff with some decent LUK equips (from bonuses) with potential scrolling
