Any tips for me? Unfunded DEXless in a new server

I'm starting a dexless fighter in Yellonde. Any tips? Like things I can do for easy ACC (100%ing gloves + overall + Wisconsin hat, etc.) and where I should be training? I don't have 2x to stack with the event, by the way.

But Ian, the wg might be a good idea, since getting an attack wg is hard im guessing. You should also get some sniper pills(+10 acc) and once you get to lvl 20, 100% scroll an overall, and again at level 35. Try to get a brown bandana or wisconsin, and other than that, you dont have too many choices since acc shoes or a dex cape might be hard to find.

Just level up, it's easier than earning money in a new server and buy acc gear later when you need it. Really whatever you can get from NPCs is good enough to train to 70, especially if you're a class who can buy maple weapons in MTS (Soul Rohen particularly good for warriors I guess) then you won't have trouble having enough to train.


Up to about level 60, you can easily stay dexless (or under 10 base) with a 100% scrolled overall, glove, maybe cape, the rest of your gear clean dex items, and acc pills. You just have to choose where to train so you don't have high req's, which sometimes means not doing the typical monsters (eg. stay at Wild Boars for 25-32 instead of Jr. Kitties or w/e.)


Green Mushroom 18 acc @ 15+
Horny Mushroom 25 acc @ 22+
Wild Boar 29 acc @ 25+
Fire Boar 36 acc @ 32+ / Pink Teddy 51 acc @ 32+ (typically you'd need the acc from mastery to move to here)
Block Golem 56 acc @ 35+ (don't worry about hitting King Blocks yet, stay on Floor 8)
Straw Target Dummy 65 acc @ 45+ /
Straw Target Dummy 55 acc @ 50+ (I've spent 35-50 at Block Golems before but if you have extra acc this is an option)
Forest of Golem, Mixed Golem 73 acc @ 59+
Voodoo/Hoodoo 80 acc @ 60+


With 4/4 base and 14 dex overall, 5 acc glove, 3 dex bamboo hat, 2 dex shoes, and 5 dex cape, you're already at 29 acc, 49 with Mastery and 59 with pills. That'll last you to whenever you get bored of Straw Dummies, and by then you should be able to upgrade at least a little (Blue wisconsin / Brown Bandana is likely the cheapest upgrade at this point).

sry. but if you're really going to stick with this, I suggest partying with a cleric (bless) and scrolling a wisconsin with acc scrolls in the FM (they're pretty cheap now, so if a hat goes BOOM! you can get another hat, and a few more scrolls for just a couple hundred k) yw:glitter:

Yellonde won't zakum until the 2x event is over, bigfoot is patched and people get their heads out their assholes.

As for usefulness, Accuracy is alot easier to come by than it was way back. So I doubt you'll have too much trouble.

I have a question. If level 100+ 1h swords and Katanas are the same speed (fast), and Katanas have less ATT, why do so many Heroes use Katanas? Am I missing something? :(

EDIT: I got a 10% and 30% 2h sword for cheap, and the 10% landed. So woot for extra 5 att. Then the 30% broke it. I knew I should do dark scrolls first. :( </3

Yes, with an attack shield it would.

Given you use a 20 atk Shield, any Ribgol Sword over 125 w.atk would still be stronger. With Onyx Apples, that drops to 119 atk to be stronger.

I think the Katana+Shield would be cheaper to obtain though.

Zakum Helm, generally +6 70% or better (this is the most important item really, it's relatively easy to get and adds 56+ acc)
15 str 21 dex 15 luk 32 acc
+3 30% overall, as many 60%s as possible (Green Battle Roads are popular but Blue Chainmails are ok)
4 str 25 dex 13 acc (approx - this is 3 30% 3 60%)
10 dex Earring or better
12+ total acc shoe (4 30% snowshoe, 3 30% crescent boot/war greave, whatever works)
3 str 2 dex 10 acc (ex. - you could also do 4/1/11, etc.)
Deputy Badge (pendant)
5 str 5 dex 5 luk
str cape + w.atk glove

With these items you have +20 luk, +63 dex (approx - depends on overall), +55 acc (again depends on overall), ~+35 str plus weapon.

Total with 4 dex 4 luk base is 121 acc which is on the low end of acceptable - you can solo Himes with 115 but the next step up is 126 - you'll probably want to get a +dex cape and +dex gloves to allow you to hit other monsters for some training variety, or just train with Priests all the time.

Thanks a lot Stereo, you're a big help. Hopefully I can join a Zak squad if I manage to level at all (<_<) and blowing a zhelm won't matter as much. It wouldn't hurt my damage much to replace a STR PAC with DEX PAC, so I could do that for extra ACC. That 121 ACC is without pills, right?

Okay, so I'm a dexless in Yellonde. EVERYONE is telling me, add points in DEX, reset when the times necessary. I'm asking, if I put my DEX up to 30 or so, will I be able to make that much STR up (26 STR :O) from equips? And how much will this affect my damage? Thanks.

To be more on topic, thanks again Stereo, you freaking rock. I think I'll stay DEXless after all. It will be hard, specially for me, require lots of money, but it's a challenge and I like it.

You should get some more. I had 0 to start with, but ended up getting 10m, which could get me pots, an ACC glove, hat, and overall, and still have some left. A 10 DEX bathrobe can be made for only 380k.

It's not that hard, with some real life money it's easy. x_X

What should I buy with my money next? For ACC equips I have a 100%ed glove (5 ACC), 6 ACC hat 7 slots, 100%ed robe (10 DEX), and clean boots and level 25 sword. I have 4m in funding but I may be getting more, depending on my luck with convincing my dad to get me NX. -_-

EDIT: By the way, Caution: Falling Down is good training. Sort of looking for a better spot to train now, level 26, bored of CFD. 26 ACC, 36 with pills, and when I max mastery, 56 ACC.
