Introduction:
Hi, Scanians. You can all call me "J". I'm very interested in creating a Pirate-guild with others who might also be interested. Now, I know this is guild related, and should probably go into guild hall. However, this guild hasn't even been formed yet or anything. So the purpose of this thread is to see if people would actually be interested in creating/joining this guild.

Reason:
Some of the activities we could do could be to PQ, job advance, even explore together, especially make new friends. Pirates gotta stick together! Perhaps in the future we could even do things such as boss runs and GPQ.

The release of pirates is very exciting to me and may be for others as well, and I want to make the most fun of it.

I think by forming this guild pre-pirate job, that we can have discussions about practically anything pirate related. That way, it won't just be limited to the forums.

Now If people are interested, just PM me or post here. We can discuss it, set some ground rules, some requirements, and actually create the guild with a proper name.

The infighter i'm making is more of a mule, let's-go-have-fun character instead of a new main...

lol, I'm not stupid. I know what's needed for GPQ. Just what are you trying to imply with your ridiculous emphasis. If you don't care or have no interest, then why bother posting?

PQing together is what alot guilds already do, Job advancing together requires all of them to be the same Lvl at one point (which is most likely not gonna happen).
Explore together? What's there to explore on MS still? Nothing much besides new maps that entertain for maybe 30min after a patch, lol.
Pirates should stick together? Your way it sounds like they should isolate from any other job (since your guild is for pirates only) which is not going to work. (Boss run without bishop, Hb and strong attacker? Lol? Well, you're most likely not even gonna get to that Lvl.) ;x

& Do you seriously think Pirates will just be discussed in forums? Alot people are going to make a Pirate anyway, lol.

I might just be in a bad mood, but I think your idea isn't worth it to be thought about.
As long you think you're still gonna have fun with this, go for it, I guess.
Joining your old guild with the new character might be better after all.

I apologize on the behalf of all pirate bashers, but we do have reasons for our skepticism and our hostilities. The hype for pirates is raping out our eyeballs as well as a nostril and bellybutton. Also, though Pirates not even out, people already have their infighters made with all their dexless gear ready and keep ranting about everything that you can possibly rant about. I'm not going to mince words or tiptoe around the case: I'm absolutely fucking sick of it. It's 5 times worse than the "omg yellonde" craze, which was so bad on SW before I got banned that not only "Yellonde" but also the names of guilds people were planning on making there were all censored! In fact, it's worse than FF7 Fanboyism, that's how god damned out of control it is.

If people want to play pirates, fine by me, but the craze is going too far, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. I mean, level together? Explore together? It's just a new class! You're trying to make it all awesome and the like, but I mean... let's face it. With the times people play, levlling together and advancing together would take more orchestration than it's worth, and as before stated, there isn't really anything left to explore.

I wish I could wish you luck with that, but the hype has left me with a general distaste for anything beyond "Oh, looks fun, I may make one" for pirates, so I'm afraid I can't wish you luck. I apologize, but it's the community that's driven me to the point where I have to be an asshole about it.

Off Topic: Were you from Odin MapleStory when it like first came out O_o.. The one in Ludi with an ass load of MapleShields, then people got pissed off and you edited your thread etc etc? o_o;;
