i had seen video showing hero using 2handed weapons only so i would like to ask isit true that hero can only use 2handed weapon in the future after big bang?
Nope. I met a Korean girl in KMST who was a one-handed sword user, level 156 Hero. She used Brave Slash and it had the same animation that a two-handed sword would have. It's awkward, but it works.

It's not that they can't, it's just not exactly recommended...?
In the case of Paladins, it's highly not recommended for them to use 2H weapons due to Guardian and whatnot. There's not such restriction for Heroes though; just that the removal of Guardian somewhat kills the point of being 1H + Shield a little.

it's even more awkward for axe users too.....even when they swing an axe, a sword slahes through....

Though the loss of Guardian sucks, the speed of one hand swords and the extra potential from shields make it the superior choice.

But since the weapon attack multipler for 1H is smaller than the 2h sword one, wouldn't a 2H sword with +% ATT be stronger than a 1H one?.

Not unless you add potential to your shield and get a +9% attack, +9% STR, and then scroll it with shield attack scrolls. Overkill, anyone?

funny part is you don't even need to scroll it that well. I'd recommend anything above lvl 70 as maple sheild will have a dismal bonus even if it is a 20+ attack

16 att + 9 percent str should be about enough to overcome the multiplier difference for just about anyone, leaving ms shield as a viable option. higher shields will be a little obscene.

level 20 shields can add max 3% str

i thought they removed the dmg multipliers, or is this only among axe versus sword etc? because 1h with the same multiplier as 2h would be overpowered

a 20 att ms shield will need about 5-6 percent str. 16 att needs about 9.
its not unattainable. however, higher shields may offer up to 27 or 36 percent str and will be preferable, especially because more of the bonus is in str instead of w att (for applez). but you only need to tack on about 18 percent to your range if your 1h and 2h are the same speed and att. about 10 if 1h is faster, which is easily gained from just w att on the ms shield.
kiwi, multiplier for 1h is 1.1, 2h is 1.29.
