Okay, you've these choices:
Cygnus Knights
Aran
Pirate
Evan
and Dual Blade.
Note: I listed Pirate because Adventurers were originally just Theif, Mage, Warrior, and Bowman.
Cygnus Knights with a close one with Evan, but I think Cygnus Knights take the cake.

An Elite group of warriors that serve the queen? Not a new theme but not an over used one.
Little boy finds a dragon and befriends it? That's a little more common. Hell, any Dragon-Themed classes usually fit the bill of unoriginal. I vote Evan.
Oh, I thought he was talking about the skills compared to the adventurers.

cygnus definitely, they are too much of a cliche.
Definitely the Cygnus Knights.

Evan.. I read Eragon just before Evan's were released.. and :f6: cliche's... Though the cygnus knights protecting a queen blah dee blah is a little cliche.. more medieval theme then anything else though. These days it's not as common.. I voted Evan :f6:

The knights are okay,
The rest are very original.
Evans, neat skills, but very, very dissapointing rip of Eragon eva~

I think Arans are the most original, yet the story is very cheesy.
Evans definitely rip off Eragon, even going as far as the mark on the back of the hand!
But maybe Koreans don't read western fiction that often, specifically Eragon, so it would seem new and exciting up there.

The Evan story doesn't even make sense when there's a hundred other Evans running around. I mean with Aran you can figure, okay, maybe they're just grooming a bunch of people so they get one success. But Evan has parents and stuff. Did they not notice they suddenly had a hundred kids?

Evan's mother needs to keep her legs crossed.

As for gameplay and not story, KoC for sure. They didn't really add anything new with them. A new story, but as for the skills themselves, they are nearly all reused from other classes. Sure Evans use a lot of magician skills, but the different job levels make it much more original.

I think a lot of the Maple quests don't really make sense with multiple people. Like the Ayan/Bruce quest, I've delivered stuff back and forth between them on multiple chars, so have thousands of other players, yet he still needs every new player to take a letter to Ayan so he can know she's alive?
On the other, hand, PQs expect you to have multiple people, so you can't argue you're the only important one or anything either.

Where is the option for the adventurers? Sorcerer, assassin, ranger and knight. Every RPG has them. D:

I dont think theres any question that its Cygnus Knights, they're just the original classes remixed together.
Arans Evans and Dual blades are all good evolutions of the classes they originated from, though horribly balanced with them, it sucks that it requires Big Bang to make them work fairly.

I'm going to have to go with Cygnus.
Evan's mother needs to keep her legs crossed.
No, no, they're all adopted for slave cheap labor on the farm.

Random group of strangers band together to defeat great evil. Yep, Explorers/Adventurers are the most unoriginal.

You could say the same about that house(?) on Maple Island spitting trillions of similar looking kids with an animal abuse fetish.
Actually. I found this near the house.

I wonder if that haves anything to do with the amount of kids coming out of that house.
Anyway. I say Evan is the most unoriginal story wise.
Adventures don't even have a story per se. -_-:
Funny how u wrote Pirate (was not in original adventurers) but not thieves? They was added to gms AFTER beta, they was never one of the 3 orginal classes.

They're in version 3. When exactly did they get added?
About 3-4 patches after beta, cant remember when exactly but they was never one of the "4" orginal classes. If you look up on kms patches Im sure you will find a time when there was only magican, warrior and bowman. But look at all the new classes nexon keep adding, most of them are overpowered in most ways. Compare pirate release to thief release, the melee job is crappy dpm but the ranged one is overpowered.

I have v1 gMS WZ XMLs infront of me, and I see thieves. I also remember a thief in those old "Screen shots!" Nexon had up of their GMs running around on lv 30 characters.

Well either my info is wrong then but imo they never was a orginal class and I believe that if you look up on kms patches you find them added last.

Even though it's an MMO most of the NPC's dialog implies you're the only "hero" of the Maple World.

For the sake of the question the answer is hands down the cygnus knights. Though, i'm slightly biased because the cygnus knights existing means PB was rushed and sucks as a boss.
