So. Dual Blade vs Post-Revamp Shadowers.

I was really looking forward to bandwagoning Dual Blades pretty hardcore. Now I see Shadowers will have all the cute stuff DB's took from hermits.

Shadower's SP beats out DB's because it's a direct copy of a hermit's.

Shadower's now have Flash Jump.

Shadower's have Meso Guard. DB's dont.

Maybe this new SP addition to a shadower's arsenal can finally put them near the top of the DPS. But will they push DB's down to the side in the process?

Even if dual bladers become weaker than shadowers, they'll still have thorns and flash bang.

Thorns and Flash Bang are indeed very nice. A DB or two will be brought for at least that.

But is there any way to know if shads are going to come out on top in DPS when compared to DB's?

The mask can be worn by any thief though. The other blade may give more damage in the Stats pane, but the main hand Dagger and off hand Blade each have their own range that they base their damage off of.

No. You can only get it from Dual Blader quests. And there is nothing that can make it tradable. Therefore is a Dual Blader only equip.

Where did it say that shad's sp is the same as nl's? Also isn't the damage rate 40% for all 3 of the thieves now? (I'm aware of the difference between nl's and db's sp btw)

Considering it looks like a direct copy/paste of the hermit's SP down to the skill icon, I believe it's safe to assume they're the same skill.

Shadower and Hermit's Sp does 40% of the damage they do. DB's only does 40% of their range or something, making the skill crap in comparison to the shad/hermit.

wait, wait, wait! Let me get this straight, Shadowers are getting shadow partner AND flash jump?
I didnt know about this. I had heard that Shadowers would get powerups, but i never heard anything about both of these skills. Can someone possibly link me?

Stuff from KMS normally gets to us 4 - 6 months from when it was released in the official server. As it stands right now it hasn't been released officially.

The only real content kMS has gotten since dual bladers are hob king pq and new scrolling system/chaos bosses, reason being their anniversary patch adding no real content and a few more purely event patches. gMS is going to run out of content to add in like three months if every patch has some content.

I think DBs will still have a higher DPM rate since they generally were already 20 mil DPM higher and DBs didn't really get nerfed that much.

Regardless though, classes should be played for fun it shouldn't matter if DBs out damage Shadowers.

The video you just linked just proved my point. Shadowers have the exact same Shadow Partner as a hermit. If you watch, the Shadow Partner hits are doing 40% of what the shadower is doing. Hence, it's exactly how a hermit's works.
