May 30, 2010:
- Changed Cyclone's comment
- Added link to "Deeper Mechanics" for Super Body
- Fixed Advanced Dark Aura to give fixed damage, not +MATK

May 29, 2010:
- Greatly changed the description on the Reaper skill
- Added that you can use teleport while in Cyclone

May 27, 2010:
- Added that Dark chain pulls enemies toward you
- Blue Aura changed from "Damage received" to "damage absorbed"
- Changed Advanced Blue Aura from having percentage based defense boost to flat additive defense boost.
- Changed Conversion to directly increase HP - not dependent upon MP consumed for the skill.
- Changed Super Body to be about changing the current Aura that is being used - not about unleashing all auras for a duration.
- Advanced Aura - Changed from being "+Basic Attack" to "+MATK"
- Dark Genesis - Removed the "2 seconds" column as it appears to be completely unused
- For all of the Blow attacks, added the link to the "Deeper Mechanics" thread. Also, the range was changed for all of the Blow attacks to be smaller.
- In the "Revive" skill, changed Ripper to Reaper.

http://www.happychinchilla.info/Southperry/skills/32111006.png리바이브 (Revive)
Description: [마스터 레벨 : 20]\n일정 시간 동안 몬스터를 죽일 때 일정 확률로 리퍼가 소환된다. 소환 된 리퍼는 10초간 적을 공격한다. (Use MP to revive the Reaper for a duration. The reaper attacks every 10 seconds.)
Fiel's Note: This one needs a bit of explanation. This skill is a buff, not a summon. When you destroy an enemy, there is a chance that you can summon a reaper who will do further attacks for you. The reaper attacks once every 10 seconds with the basic attack listed. The reaper stays on the battlefield for an equal duration of the buff. So, if your buff lasts 90 seconds and 45 seconds later you summon a reaper after a mob is killed, the reaper will still last for 90 seconds. A reaper that kills another mob cannot summon another reaper.

http://www.happychinchilla.info/Southperry/skills/32121003.png싸이클론 (Cyclone)
Description: 10초 동안 자신의 몸을 회오리 형태로 빠르게 움직이게 한다. 회오리 상태인 동안 방향키를 이용해서 좌우로 이동하며 적들에게 데미지를 주게 된다.\n#c재사용 대기시간 : 1분# (Turn yourself into a tornado for a brief period. Press the left and right buttons to damage enemies when you cross them.)
Fiel's Note: When you press the skill key, your character becomes enveloped in a cyclone. While in this state, you can move left and right and use the Teleport skill, but you cannot jump or use any other skills. According to a video on Youtube, this skill also gives a massive MATK boost which increases the power of this spell, but the calculation for this boost is unknown.

"Battle mage skill tables" thread?

Decided to separate the two after the first thread has 99 replies? You should've kept the battle mages there and made a new one for wild hunters so as to make them look like the less-popular of the two.

There was more information I wanted to add, but there's too much text for vBulletin to parse. If I didn't separate them I would end up with timeout errors. The separation was necessary.

It's weird that they have all of these auras, but then a skill where all of the auras are used at the same time. It might be possible to where the auras can't stack when used one at a time.

These auras sound familiar to paladin auras in WoW, so I'd assume they would work similarly. The way the auras work in WoW is that only one aura per person, but if you have multiples of that class each one can use a different aura and all would stack on everyone.

Translating Insoya's Super Body says that you can strengthen the currently active Aura (could be translation fail) for a certain period of time:

Dark Aura: 40% damage increase for 30 seconds (zomg)
Yellow Aura: 40 speed, -2 Attack Speed, 40% evasion rate (?) for 30 seconds
Blue Aura: 10 seconds of invincibility

I read that Conversion skill, and it seems that it only gives +2k HP. "Take a percentage of the MP consumed by this skill and add to your MaxHP for up to 60 seconds."

That still doesn't come close to the durability that Magic Guard gives. If they don't have decent base HP then they might be the first Mage class to require HP washing.

Fair enough. I suppose we'll have to wait to see it in action or if it is as you say, wait for it to get buffed.
I think 2k might just be how much it takes to cast, and adds your max MP to your max HP. >_>

It's really hard to understand what it does through Google Translate, but it seems to turn something (the translator says "his body") into a Tornado for 10 seconds and attack with 770 base damage. You can control it with the arrow keys. It has a 1 minute cooldown.

There was only one paladin aura in WC3; Devotion Aura. I don't count the rest of the auras because they come from different classes, so you'd expect them to stack regardless. Paladins in WoW are more similar to this situation we have with battlemages. Each battlemage could put up a different aura, and they would all stack. If 2 battlemages put up the same aura, whoever has a higher leveled "improved color" aura would override the other aura of the same color.

That is what I meant in my original post lol. I apologize

Khoi
2010-05-25, 04:10 PM
Are you sure the higher levelled aura would override? Because for example, if a Hermit were to use Haste, it's maxed and would give 140% Speed and 120% Jump. If a n00b-Sin were to cast a not-maxed Haste right after, the previous Speed and Jump boosts would be override by that.

This is, of course, under the assumption that it works like most buffs.

LiquidSwing
2010-05-25, 04:17 PM
I'm fairly confident with Nexon regarding the buff situation right now. They fixed the DrK Beholder Buff vs Onyx Apple dilemma, although this buff situation was based on survival of the fittest (purely numerical, onyx apples give more ATK so they win out).

Having the improved color aura skills in 4th job override the non-improved version of the lower job ones is the smart thing to do. With a class like battlemages (and paladins) where the auras are tuned to be a important integrated feature to the class, I would put money on Nexon doing the smart thing.

But hey it's Nexon, so logic is thrown out the door. I'm staying optimistic though. :)

Very interesting class. Though I'm disappointed they keep wildly increasing base attack to counteract the flaws of the magic damage formula. In essence, they keep creating new magic-based classes that render the old magic classes obsolete. How sad.

Like Paul said with all of their major multi-hit skills, I don't think we can fully comprehend what an end-game Battlemage looks like in terms of survivability, DPS, mobbing, bossing, and all other aspects that determine the usefulness of a class.

Also, @Bribery: They do have the 3rd Job skill that transfers 2000 MP to HP for a few minutes, and doesn't have a cooldown. Better than nothing, though I agree that a lack of MG is disconcerting, especially if their MaxHP increase per level is as pitiful as all other magic-based classes (lol@Mage HP washing).

That's true, I always did wonder why spell booster increased weapon speed as well. Not that I'm complaining, Estaff + booster = a staff that's as fast as a dagger, excellent for APQing. Will just have to wait and see in that case, shouldn't take long for something like this to surface.

The video shows the Battle Mage with 305 HP at level 13. Doesn't look to be too much of an issue, considering the actual job change plus three levels are the only difference to provide over 100 HP difference from regular mages.

First: MP 22 소비, 기본 공격력 145
Last: MP 28 소비, 기본 공격력 240
Fiel: Typo for the First/Last for Quad Blow to say 145/240 and the data say 85/180, or is it referring to something else?

There was only one paladin aura in WC3; Devotion Aura. I don't count the rest of the auras because they come from different classes, so you'd expect them to stack regardless. Paladins in WoW are more similar to this situation we have with battlemages. Each battlemage could put up a different aura, and they would all stack. If 2 battlemages put up the same aura, whoever has a higher leveled "improved color" aura would override the other aura of the same color.

That is what I meant in my original post lol. I apologize
Oh you were talking about Paladins, nevermind then.

Imagine doing Pianus while riding on a Jaguar for the damage. Yeahhhhhh you're gonna get boomed. As if it wasn't already cramped enough.

That's not too bad, they have more HP than Evans at least (and more than regular mages as a result).

Their HP seems to be the same as a 1st job Gunslinger at this point. Any boosts on the 2nd job advancement?

Quad Blow is a b'itch to use. At least at the beginning. You have to use really odd timing to use it.

By the way, Battle Mage HP/MP is nice. At level 30, I have 1151 HP and 1020 MP.

To those asking about boosts : HP went from around 930ish to 1151 from the advancement.

This class is a really button-mashing class like Aran, except you press more than one key at a time. It's really carple tunnel enducing.

Bleh, so it looks like their HP is around that of a ranged class. I hope the Auras stack, otherwise it'll be pretty hard to boss without Blue Aura.

What's Finish Attack for? Does it always activate after you finish Quad Blow? How does its damage compare to Quad Blow?

Their HP is much higher than a ranged. At level 33 or 34, I had 1337 hp. XD I heard the auras don't stack. I haven't put any points in the 2nd job auras yet, so I can't confirm nor deny that.

The finish attack is a piece of crap. It's an active skill that you use when you attack a couple of times with triple attack and the damage is sh'it. Quad Blow is powerful as hell. With Tespia equips (equips that you get form monster drops lol), I was doing ~2k damage at level 37 with maxed Quad Blow. It's crazy. This class plays a LOT like an Aran.

Hmm, the HP gain isn't that bad afterall then. Seems to be ~40 HP per level up based on your numbers.

Yeah, 35 ~ 40ish seems about right. When I leveled up, my HP went from 1337 to 1374 or so.

The attack speed is decent. It's pretty much the same as the Aran attacks. At least, that's how it felt to me. I don't know how the actual attack speeds differ in milliseconds, though.

Auras last forever. Well maybe not forever...but it's at least a few hours duration. Auras do not stack (unless you're in super body effect apparently). Auras are pretty buggy while partied. If you're close, the aura will last. If not, it will flicker on and off pretty rapidly. Whether this is a glitch or not i have no idea.

Boo, that's a little disappointing, but it was what I was expecting. Any word whether two Battlemages can stack different Auras?

I don't think Super Body actually lets you use all Auras at once. Running those "first/last" strings through Google Translate says that it improves the active Aura's effect for a set period of time (most notably 40% damage increase for 30 seconds with Dark Aura).

Takebacker

More about auras:

They actually do last "forever"...in that every few seconds the buff recasts itself and this goes on for an infinite amount of times. Why they did this i don't really know, but it's probably because of this mechanic that the game gets confused somehow when in parties which causes the flickering glitch mentioned above. Blue aura shaves off a % of damage. At level 1, it takes off 11% damage. I can only imagine the damage i'll be taking with adv blue...but i haven't been in a party to see how the distribution part of the skill works.

Oh by the way, their HP/MP gain is insane for this kind of class.

Someone over at the MapleSEA forums conducted some observations, and came to the conclusion that the basic attack stated on the Quad/Death/etc. Blows is only factored in in full on the last hit. So perhaps the blows' basic attack is only for one hit, and the first 2 hits will be complete crap.

Can any KMST testers confirm this? ._.

Oh, and does Blue Aura really transfer damage taken to party members? If so, is the % damage transferred based on the original damage taken (before guard) or on the guarded damage?

I can confirm this. Now that I've seen it used I can more fully understand what the data is doing. It's not based upon a multiplier - the basic attack and range is explicitly stated in the wz files for each hit of the attack.

For max level of this Quad/Death/whatever blow is like this for each hit (in basic attack):

98

Blech. Do not like. If the advanced aura in 4th Job that increasing attacking speeds by two levels can't stack with other auras, and thus won't be used as frequently, I can't imagine a skill like this being cast fast enough to dish out decent DPS.

Even with good equips, the final 1v1 move will not deal that much damage. with 670 base power @ skeles my bishop hits 90k's on average, at 170. Thats by no means impressive, even with GMS equips, of course speed will obviously play a factor here, but currently it wont do much for their dps in comparison to other classes, maybe good compared to Magician classes, but will fail in comparison to most, if not all weapon classes. Especially if we consider apples in the comparison, and if this class isn't affected by Thorns, I can see Evans out-damaging them in 1v1, with the way the skill works and the magic formula; they are screwed even more when we bring more powerful pots such as apples or cheeses.

I am thinking something like this

Party of 3 ppl

BattleMage: hp:2000
Dark knight hp: 5000
Evan hp: 1500

(Its just random hp numbers)

And lets say the BattleMage recieves 1000 damage

then he would recieve 30% of the damage

-300 hp

then the other member recieve the rest of the damage equaly

-350 hp
and
-350 hp

Soooooo I dont think its really "good" to have it in a party, its like unfair if it works the way I think it does.

I don't understand Blue Aura. I personally don't see it being useful for an MMO like MapleStory where the monsters and bosses hit EVERY person in the range of the attack. In a different type of game where the monster or boss targets a specific person and can only attack them (which is where the real tanks come in), I could see that being useful for when the monster or boss targets a non-tank player.

They have something like this in silkroad called pain quota however it is cast on certain people. If that guy gets hit it spreads the dmg out to everyone else. However, in that game if that guy gets hit by a ton of dmg it can potentially kill everyone else in the party. I just hope maple's version won't allow that :P (say if the guy walks into ht body for example)

Super body is weird. It doesn't let you use all 3 auras at once. I think what it does is it enhances the aura you have on before you cast super body. If you're using the blue one, you get invincibility for a short time. If dark, a higher damage boost. If yellow...i dunno.

Did the overall damage increase for death blow? and what do you mean with conversion?

Use X MP. Y% of that MP is added to your max HP.

Wait a second. Conversion is actually much different. It's not a % of the MP you used to cast the skill...it's actually increasing your HP by the % listed. At level one for the cost of 1k MP you get 1.62x HP...at max it doubles your HP! O_O

wait wait

So at max lets say you have

5000 hp and 10000mp

you use it -2000mp
then its +100% hp = 10k hp???

It was just an example, as for the hp and mp values, someone said it was +40 hp per lv, then oes that mean you would have around the same hp and mp? or would the mp be slightly higher?

and to stop my questions (sorryyy) how much hp/mp do you have without any buff?

On average your HP and MP won't differ by more than a few hundred points. My HP at lv 70 is 2.6k and MP is 2.8k. With conversion my HP is 4.3k.

After thinking it through, I think Blue Aura will work this way:

Let's say you take 6000 damage (using same values again ._.) per hit, are in a 6-person party and have maxed Blue Aura.

If only one person (P1) is hit by the attack:
P1 - Takes 4200 damage.
Other party members - Take 360 damage each when P1 gets hit.

If everyone is hit by the attack:
All - Take 4200 damage, plus 360 damage from everyone else. Total damage taken per player = 4560.

As for Advanced Blue Aura,

If only one person is hit by the attack:
P1 - Takes 3000 damage.
Other party members - Take 360 damage each when P1 gets hit.

If everyone is hit by the attack:
All - Take 3000 damage, plus 360 damage from everyone else. Total damage taken per player = 3360.

I stated 2 possible cases in one of my previous posts, however when I thought about it I realised that if the % damage transferred was based on the guarded value, the damage transferred by Advanced Blue Aura would be greater than for Blue Aura...

Anyhow, this also means that it will not work if you're not in a party. This means that Battlemages are "party animals" (lol), and much likelier to die when not in a party. Battlemages have lots of skills that help a party, so whatever.

I don't know about party theories, but i don't think it'll work that way. Blue aura has damage distributed while adv blue aura has damage absorbed...which implies that blue aura reduces damage by splitting it up per person while advanced just absorbs the damage and you don't take any of it. o.o

A few questions about the summon. It looks like you used the skill a few times but nothing showed up. Is the % chance in the skill data for the chance of it showing up? If it doesn't show up what does it do while its 'on'. Also, when the summon is there, does it walk around on its own or does it generally stay close to you?

It's not really that interesting. The skill says something about the damage being relative to something else, but it's really just a weak 1st job skill that you use at the end of triple blow that does a static amount of damage no matter what. Imagine energy bolt for the mage class except it mobs and has really really small range. It's kind of tricky to cast at first and gets replaced by dark lightning dispite the 10 second cooldown too. If you want me to use it in my next video (probably tomorrow), i guess i will, but there isn't anything amazing about it that i can see.

It's not a really weak skill later on. Looking at the data, it would seem that as you get more and more hits to use with Quad Blow and as you upgrade the finisher in 4th job, the damage increases. Data shows 300 basic attack for the final form of Finish Attack. Try using final attack after your first hit and after your final hit of the combo. I think that's where the difference is.

I already figured out Swallow. To use it, you have to hold it (like Final Cut). Once the bar fills up, you let go and the monster is put in the Jaguar's mouth (at this point, you get experience for killing the monster). If you press the button again, it shoots the monster in the form of a little projectile forward about... 300px? And I'm pretty sure it does damage equal to the % it says in the skill. The interesting part is when you *don't* spit the monster out. After about 10 seconds the monster actually gets swallowed, and you get a little buff in the top right of your screen. I've only seen two buffs so far. One of them is Max MP +1%, the other is unknown (the icon has a shield with two arrows pointing down). I'll make and upload a video about it later.

Eh, I didn't play it for long, but I find them to be much more annoying than Aran. If you want to do Finish Attack properly, you'll have to pay attention to exactly how many times you press the button all the time. I don't know how much of an issue that is for some, but I'm kind of a button masher, so counting 5 presses takes a lot of concentration from me. You can't just rely on what you see because by the time you see it, it's too late to press it.

As for Finish Attack, Fiel:
http://video.xfire.com/2c070d-4.jpg (http://www.xfire.com/video/2c070d/)

It seems that the big gear only comes out when you press it exactly 5 times. If you press it more, the tiny gear comes out. If you press it less, no gear comes out. It's really bothersome. Excuse my awful control, I was mostly concentrating on counting my hits and doing the big gear thing.

I'm well aware of controllers and their ability to kick ass. Lachrymus tried to convince me that they're awesome and that I can do things with them that are impossible with a keyboard. Maybe I'm lazy or just stubborn, but I really don't want to let go of my keyboard. And if I can't do that combo 99% of the time with a keyboard while also not breaking my fingers, then I don't mind not playing them. I like ranged classes better anyway.

Sylv's previous response of "Its tespia..." was pointing out that it is commonly understood all MapleStory test servers have permanent increased EXP rates, to a degree much higher than can be achieved in actual servers. It's nice that he pointed out how the system actually works, but that's the bottom line. So no, you won't be gaining 50% in 5 minutes there in GMS.

OT: Class still looks like it sucks. Increased concentration and susceptibility to carpal tunnel makes me want to play my Aran that much more. Also, ew @ Final Attack. @Americans playing this KMST account: are you experiencing a lot of lag due to server distance? Because FA looks hella gross in that the actual hit occurs oddly during the casting animation, to the point where (as can be seen in KaidaTan's video) it misses occasionally.

Oh, and yeah, Battlemages definitely have some of the best buffs in the game, but if you can't stack Auras they're honestly not as useful considering skills that already exist such as Combo Barrier.

I hope they reduce the cooldown on some of their skills though. Dark Lightning and Dark Genesis' cooldowns make them rather useless. 5 seconds for Dark Lightning and 20 seconds for Dark Genesis seem more reasonable to me.

Also, can you use other skills while in Cyclone? Otherwise it's also quite useless since you can only use it for 10 seconds, with a 60 second cooldown.

From what I've read so far, Revive probably works this way (Takebacker, correct me if I'm wrong):

To start off, you cast Revive. The buff icon appears on the top right corner of the screen but nothing is summoned. When you kill monsters with the buff on, you have a probability to summon a Reaper. This Reaper will roam the platform it was summoned on until the buff runs out, attacking monsters with a chance of killing them instantly (provided it's not a boss). An infinite number of Reapers can be summoned as long as the buff remains active.

Imagine using it at Entrance to Spooky World. The darn place will be flooded with reapers! O.O

Yeah, that pretty much seems like what it does. If it's this way, then, more than a single reaper can appear, making the summon quite interesting...

UHM... So this means boss summons make this class stronger? If they kill them? Interesting, to say the least. Imagine papulatus, with the bombs... I NEED TO SEE THAT.

Mobs have explicit resistance to dark, not implicit resistance to dark due to being undead. This is clear in the Chaos boss mobs thread.

That still wouldn't account for the difference though.

Level 1 Dark Genesis = 770 BA
Level 1 Cyclone = 440 BA * 1.1 = 484 BA

Maybe Cyclone is just glitched. :f6:

I can confirm that DG isnt affected by ADA though. Tornado is insane. Mowing down 3 platforms of kents feels amazing.

Theres an animation difference between an advanced and a reg aura by the way. The adv ver is much wider.

By the way, auras were patched. If you go outside the range of the caster, the aura turns off. This is huge because the range is so small but it does balance things considering the buffs are so strong. If you're excited about auras for training, prepare to be disappointed.

Yeah I noticed that too in this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecgQyvz5ZuQ&

His Cyclone hits over 90k while his Genesis doesn't even break 80k.

For "Revive", it looks like you use the buff, then every monster you kill has a 20% chance(lv20) of summoning a Reaper. After being summoned the Reaper can attack monsters on its own..

I wonder though... about the 10% "instant death" thing if it applies to the target the Reaper hits or if it's a 10% chance the Reaper dies when it attacks.

That's how I figured they were supposed to work. This could be annoying for bossing too since Battlemages attack at such close range. Hopefully they'll upgrade the range of the Advanced Auras at least.

Yeah after seeing that above Battlemage at Skeles, those Reapers are definitely a lot better than we initially thought. I'd like to see a Lv. 200 well-equipped Battlemage summon as many as possible, because I'd imagine that if you have them overflowing on platforms (provided you can't max spawn per pixels or whatnot), especially when they're doing enough damage to 2hko, you may not need to bother killing for a couple seconds. Staff: 6/101 int/matt, int +9%, (something) +6%, (same something) +6% <~ I'm assuming those are magic attack +6s
Earrings: 3 int, int +9%, int +9%, luk +6%

So yeah.

Question: is the % boost additive or multiplicative?
I.E. Will int +10%, int +10% on equips give you int*(1.2)? Or will it be int*1.1*1.1?
If it's additive then she has int +51% from the equips I was able to see...hot dam. She didn't hover over her bottom or her shield.

Equipment that is identified/has potential are actually very easy to obtain.

Normal equipment dropped by monsters has a change to be 'unidentified', so you can use a 'Magnifying Glass' on it to gain extra stats. However, already existing equipment can also be made 'unidentified' through the use of the Purple Potential Scroll. The Yellow Potential Scroll is the one that adds extra stats and stars, and has a decreasing success rate.

There's our answer. And blech, because what Cyanne said is exactly why I was worried about %W.Att: bring these scrolls to GMS, and not only is all gear crap, but clearly we're moving to even more private-server-esque gameplay. I mean, a Lv. 200 Hero almost solo'd HT in GMS a few weeks ago using only a 30k HP warrior as a seduce mule; give him %W.Att gear and he not only would've soloed it, but saved hours of time.

A very important question I think that needs to be answered; Does the +% from pieces of gear affect base stats(like MW), or does it affect all stats? (base stats and gear AP bonuses)

If it's like MW, we may not be screwed as hard as I think. That means the w.atk%'s wont affect apples, which would really break the game even harder. But if the +% stats affects gear and all, oh boy.

From my understanding it works the same as maplewarrior as it only works on base stats not stats received from gear or anything else.

If it's only base stats than does this still help characters with low secondary stats? Granted they would benefit more from +main stat% than their normal counterparts I can see these scrolls leveling the laying field in some ways.

Oh boy...here comes the Invasion of the Pure-stat Characters...

We're going to be seeing pure-stat characters left and right now...

Not really, the ideal or "stat-whore" players will still slap on decent scrolls for their secondary stats and then do those other scrolls afterwards for % wise, since u want to pump the max amount of AP in your primary stat to take a better advantage of of the +% stats

Higher leveled gear gets higher +% bonuses on it. But a lot of equips (earring, hat, pendants, rings, cape) can be pretty much any level without stat requirement. They're only losing out on the +%s of top/bottom/shoes/gloves.

Rose Earrings and Giles capes are pretty popular in KMS now since they seem to get the max bonuses unlike level 50 stuff. Lol PACs.

I said this a long time ago and I'll say it again: Nexon Korea has not one person working there with the brain enough not to keep this sh'it out of MS. It's ruining the game.

Awesome. I have a Green and a Red Giles Cape somewhere...

Oh crap. I think those were in another world...

So, will equipment with higher level requirements have more options? The Horned Tail Pendant has 3 options, but I remember seeing a screenshot of an equipment with a lower level requirement having only 2 options (I think I saw one with 1 option too).

Going into more specifics is it better to go overall or top and bottom? It sounds like there is a lot more potential with the top and bottom

Another thing that is actually on topic, if buc's boost gives -1 I'm assuming yellow aura is better at-2, yet can anyone confirm if they possibly though highly unlikely stack? Another thing at what point is the boost pointless? I mean is a sin's boost with buc's the threshold for speed?

The speed cap is 2.

Normal booster takes off 2.

Assassins and Bandits start at speed 4. (I think 1 dagger is speed 5)
Bowmen start at speed 5~6. (mostly 6, but Maple weapons and the Blue Metus are 5)
Pirates start at speed 5.
Warriors start at speed 3~8. (in general 1h swords 4-5, 2h swords 5-6, 1h Axe/BWs 5-6, 2h BW/Axes 6-7, Spear/Polearms 7-8, but there are a lot of exceptions)

Anyone starting at 6 or less is already hitting the speed cap with SI. Anyone starting at 4 is already at the speed cap and unaffected by SI. The only people stacking would affect are some DKs and some Paladins.

Some Arans as well. We all know Axe Heroes shouldn't exist anyway. Magicians may also get some bonus out of this as well.

And everyone, shut up about pure statless classes. +1000% DEX is still only +40 dex for a Warrior.

*Sees Battlemage videos of having 8k HP at level 107*

Conversion confirmed to double your current HP, in essence a better Hyperbody. Now to confirm if Hyperbody stacks on top of Conversion. If so, Battlemages are the ultimate NX-less solo class. If not, they are at least damn good at it with little need to HP wash.

Judging by that, it appears the comment about Cyclone giving some MATK boost is unfounded, as the range falls linearly with Dark Genesis, and the first hit of Finish Blow; however, it appears that the second( or is it two very fast attacks at once?) hit of Finish Blow doesn't fall into expected ranges, though the third(last?) hit does; 15kish, followed by 8~9kx2, followed by another 15kish? Given a level 10 Finish Blow, it's 78/78/78/44/44, but the damage does not appear in that order in this video it seems, though it extrapolates to these values.

We have a youtube video of a person with their stat window clearly showing that the moment they went into the cyclone form they gained a matt boost 0.o Even Fiel noticed and pointed this out in this very thread, page 10. Here's the video:

At 1:56 he transforms while having his stat window open. You'll see the change in his mAtt.

My bad. It doesn't appear very significant in that video.

You know how we used to say "That is the test server, their DMG shall be better once it gets released in the official server". Well, i just realized that after they got the Identifying and strengthening systems, its totally the oposite. It sure is easier to make great equipment in the test server than in the official server, since the drop rate for every thing, including those scrolls, is so high.
With the current equips GMS has, their DMG might suck.

KMS jus had their equip drop rate increased by 10 in the latest patch, so it may not be actually THAT hard.

More thoughts after hitting 119:

The recent chains skill definitely makes strinching (string chaining) much easier. Anothing thing i have noticed is that my previous theory about making tornado start up with no start up lag might not be so farfetched. I haven't figured it out yet, but it has something to do with hitting the arrow keys in a certain way at the right time.

One more thing...i'm thinking about getting final blow first after 9 stance and 1 adv yellow aura. Not only because i have a feeling it's definitely going to get buffed, but that i want to know what finish blow looks like with final attack.

I'm wondering how fast they attack with the new Yellow Aura speed. -5 casting speed is pretty much unheard of in mages.
