4th Season for Zero no Tsukaima?

I've just recently picked up watching Zero no Tsukaima and I've loved it. Just wondering if anything was known about a 4th season yet or should I just read the light novels.

Light novels aren't the manga. And the novels are up to like volume 11 or 12, and volume 4 is like where the 2nd season ended or something.

And is it really as bad as you guys say it is? D:
