Lv 120: 1 Triple Throw (1) , 1 Venom (1) , 1 Shadow Stars (1)
Lv 121: 3 TT (4)
Lv 122: 3 TT (7)
Lv 123: 3 TT (10)*
Lv 124: 3 Venom (4)
Lv 125: 3 Venom (7)
Lv 126: 3 Venom (10)
Lv 127: 3 Venom (13)**
Lv 128: 3 TT (13)
Lv 129: 3 TT (16)
Lv 130: 3 TT (19)
Lv 131: 1 TT (20!) , 2 Venom (15)
Lv 132: 3 Venom (18)
Lv 133: 3 Venom (21)
Lv 134: 3 Venom (24)
Lv 135: 3 Venom (27)
Lv 136: 1 Venom (28)*** , 1 Ninja Storm (1) , 1 Shadow Shifter (1)
Lv 138: 3 Shadow Shifter (4)
Lv 139: 3 Shadow Shifter (7)
Lv 140: 3 Shadow Shifter (10)
Lv 141: 3 Shadow Shifter (13)
Lv 142: 2 Shadow Shifter (15)**** , 1 Shadow Stars (2)
Lv 143: 3 Shadow Stars (5)
Lv 144: 3 Shadow Stars (8)
Lv 145: 3 Shadow Stars (11)
Lv 146: 3 Shadow Stars (14)
Lv 147: 1 Shadow Stars (15)***** , 2 Shadow Shifter (17)
Lv 148: 3 Shadow Shifter (20)
Lv 149: 3 Shadow Shifter (23)
Lv 150: 3 Shadow Shifter (26)
Lv 151: 3 Shadow Shifter (29)
Lv 152: 1 Shadow Shifter (MAXED), 2 Maple Warrior (2)
* = TT Level 10: MP -14, Damage 120%. +1 more MP from lv 9, but +2 % damage increase PER star. I wanted to have a change of pace and get Venom.
** = Venom Level 13: Attack 43, for 3 secs, success rate 20%. This is +2 % more success rate than lv 12 Venom, so I decided to cap it at 20% success rate instead of 18. That and since it lasts 3 seconds, it'll be useful.
*** = Venom lv 28 because it has 58 att, for 4 secs, success rate is 30%. Maxed Venom only gives 2 more att, but the duration and succ. rate is the SAME. No need to waste SPs.
**** = Shifter 15 is 15% success rate of avoiding, I just wanted to stop at 15. I would have done to 20, but lv 1 Shadow Stars for life would have annoyed me..
***** = Lv 15 Shadow Stars = 90 seconds ; 1 min and 30 seconds. Maxed Shadow stars = 2 minutes, and that's 15 MORE SPs. I decided that 15 would be enough to HT and to train for a long duration.
I did not get ANY Maple Warrior because I didn't want my NL to have it, a lot of other people already has MW, if not, lv19 MW. >_> I got Shifter later because I heard it was helpful, but in terms of usefulness, TT + Venom > Shifter IMO. Even though Shifter saves potions.
I did many revisions, to find a perfect build that I liked, ANd finally, the end-result was this. My NL friends in guild has different builds, a late 15X one that I know has lv 19 MW + maxed TT, another 15X NL has maxed Shadow Stars, another 13X NL maxed Venom before TT, another NL or so maxed TT before Venom, and so on. :shine:

10/10. Great build, everything in it was useful, you capped at the right levels, but at 150, wouldnt it be more beneficial to get some MW before taunt?

Actually, you're right about that. At lv 150, it would be wise to get MW instead of Taunt, but the 1 extra point into Taunt there was to just... have the skill. Lol.. I haven't planned it after 150 yet, because I might not actually get that far. xP But if I do, I was planning to get either MW (and get it to lv 9), or start saving up for TT30.

I'm guessing you train more than you boss, as I planned to go TT to 20 first, rather than diverting points to venom since I boss a lot. Your build looks good, I'll be doing the same thing besides leveling Venom early on before TT.

Although now that I think about it, an 11% exp increase mob attack for 1 sp sounds better than 1% stat increase.

id rather get shadow claw then shifter. for a nightlord a pathetic 30% more avoid really wont help a lot and when u wanna train without repotting for long periods of time u can do 4 hrs with jus 24 sets of stars. cap shifter around 20 and maxing it after shadow stars would be better imo.
as for taunt.
it doesnt work at bosses.
its main use is when a mob is 4 monsters or more.
it gets better once u max it. but its not better than a support skill like mw.

TT 20 before adding points to vemon 2+.

TT20 is crucial, punch that one down first.

I don't boss that often, so I don't really see a need to get TT to 20 asap, to be honest. I'll be at Newties more than I am at Zakum, Pap, and Pianus.. combined.
TT10 = 120% per star
TT20 = 140% per star
Difference being 60% extra damage total. 60% is a lot, but it depends on where you train. In all honestly, I find Venom13 more helpful than TT20 because:
a) I don't boss THAT much, if I do anyways, most of the top NLs in my guild (15X - 16X) already has everything covered.
b) I train more than I boss.
c) Venom > TT at Newties. TT > Venom at Himes.
60% extra dmg, or 3 seconds Venom with a 20% success rate? I pick the 2nd one.

No, you're going absolutely wrong here.
Boss Night Lord or not, TT20 beats venom to the floor at training and bossing.
Level 1 venom deals 3k-10k damage and that's perfectly fine for the time being. Trust me, you'll find a huge amount of difference between TT10 and TT20.
TT10's damage is disgusting. It's almost the same damage as L7 :f7:

that one and a half extra star is the only thing that tops it over :f4:
anyway, dont ever max venom, its the worst thing you could do. (i know you're not,it's just a heads up!)
and...
TT20 F-T-W.
IF YOU DONT MAX OUT TRIPLE THROW TO 20,YOU MIGHT AS WELL NOT BE A NIGHT LORD :f2:

<_<; Why do people assume I am not getting TT to 20 or 30...? -points at lv 131- D:
Also, I gte mixed responses in-game and on forums, some say to get TT20 ASAP, some say to get "some" Venom in. I'm going with my instinct on this, and getting Venom to 13. xP My instinct hasn't failed me yet.

Are you joking? Venom30 is way better than TT20.

He's not trying to be a damage whore, he's trying to train effectively. And by the way, the upgrade from Lucky 7 to TT10 was the only noticeable upgrade for me as far as damage goes. I got Venom30 before I got TT20, and I'm glad I did, because TT20 is useless unless you're bossing.

Imo it's indeed best to get some venom before 'maxing' out TT, venom will help much more while training then that little extra damage...

I been surfing southperry for a while, i stumbled upon ur thread, it caught my attention. I maxed MW10 and TT20 straight away, it helped me with training alot, then after i maxed out TT20, i maxed venom straight away, i really have to say your build is VERY unique. I just went for all power build, screw everything else.
But then i boss alot. Good luck on this build. I had TT20 while only lvl 1 venom and that lasted me for along while, so yeh..

If your going to cap venom somewhere while you get your tt to a desired lvl look @ the points where time is added as a break point ie lvl11 adds a second and would be a stopping point, lvl 21 adds another second and would be a stopping point. Only get it to lvl 28 as here it works @ 30% rate with you only gaining 1 point to its base att per sp added between lvl 28-30, then get tt/mw done all the things that will add to your damage then max it when you have the 2 spare points that wont effect its damage that much.
hi khoi
im lvl 146 and i just added 3 to mw and its at 4 now. Not having MW fails cause i've always found myself needing it somewhere.. x( sucks when you have to solow ithout it lol
I currently have: TT20
Shadow Star - level 1 MW 9 (Because I stop leveling and solo a lot, so this is a must. I personally think MW is very helpful, it boosts your attack a lot, and people love it when they don't have a bishop around. This doesn't apply to people who party a lot though.)
Venom 28 (No point in getting Venom 30 in my opinion)
Shadow Shifter 13 (gonna max this)
Ninja Storm - level 1 (just for fun xD)
