Hi I'm a lv82 Dexless Hermit.
What skills should I raise?
I have 1 SP left and:
Max SP
5 Avenger
1 FJ .
I'm thinking about adding 11 FJ > 25 Avenger > Max Alchemist. does that sound good?
Also, at lv85, should I go to Nightshadows or Jr.Newties? (For best EXP) Thanks

You should start maxing Alchemist if you ask me, it'll extend any of the attack pots you have such as the NLC p.atk pot or an apple. I also advise you start maxing flash jump to recieve more mobility... Also if you plan o, Newtie training I suggest you apple train, it's easier and much much much mmore faster. I appeled trained at Newtie at level 81 and I hit level 85 in 4 hours.

Unfortunately my funds are a bit low atm and apple training is not an option.
So I should raise 11 FJ and max Alchemist before Avenger??

Back in the ZOMBIESdays, I did something along the lines of this (which a lot of people dis-approved, but I enjoyed mobility more than I did speed-training):
Lv 70: 1 Avenger or SP (doesn't matter)
From here on in, I put enough points into Avenger so that I could get FJ. I got my FJ to lv 20 ASAP. Then I maxed my SP, from here on in, I slowly maxed Avenger. Anything else from this point and up is pretty much your choice, but I'd recommend Shadow Mesos -> Shadow Web -> max out Dark Sight.
EDIT: Oh, forgot all about Alchemist. LOL? Passive-skill, so I never think about it. Slide in Lv 10 Alchemist somewhere after you get maxed SP, it'll help. I didn't get Avenger past lv 25 until somewhere near 9x, I think? I forgot.

How much money do you have? By now you should have the typical hermit equipment, am I right? helm, skanda, overall, FS, etc???
Yes, you should do that. Level 11 FJ is perfect because it reduces the amount of mp the skill uses, therefor saving you a shit load of money. Alchemist will also save you money also because it extends the time limit for pots. Avenger is only needed to gather mobs, which wont be important when you're killing newtie*.

I have about 300m in meso but I don't feel like wasting some of it on pure training. Okay, and what level until will I stay at Jr.Newties?

FFFF--- 300 Milis more than enough to get you pass 120. Ok so you don't want to apple train I see? I suggest you go to Newties at level 9x (87+ if you think you're strong enough) and stay there until level 12x. Or find a party to train with. I could train with you on my hermit if you'd like to make it less boring? Maybe I could supply some 2x.

I was thinking about going to Jr.Newties at lv85 since they are lv105, which would be the minimum level to bypass the 20% damage reduction and the ACC requirement. Also someone told me that Nightshadows is bettre than Jr.Newties? Is this true?

Never trained at Nightshadows. Trained at Newts during my early 100's, when Newts came out. Back in the days, I trained at Zombies til 80. From there on, I was at regular Squids til 9x. Then to the purple Squids, etc. I actually prefer training in Aqua, it's just more fun, and easier.

To some extent. If you have crazy charater control- like moving around a map than yeah sure it's more entertaining, but if you're looking for a stress free training sessionwhere all you have to do is press one button, than Newties are for you. I personally don't mind either maps because they both give me great exp!
You're only 3 levels away from 85 I see... where do you train now?

Right now I'm at Lower Ascent killing WRs and SBs getting about 45-50%/hr.

if i were you i'd max alchemist right after SP so i can train at JR newties. WRs are nice, but its hard to find a map. but for newties, you're always guaranteed a map thanks to dungeons. only downside is that you dont make any money but you can always do an hour of hoodoo/voodoo or WR or WSs to make up for it.

I know that FJ is completely useless at Jr.Newties but I feel like raising it a little :P , so now I'm torn between whether I should max Avenger or Alchemist

If you get FJ next then avenger you can possibly hime. A good hermit friend of mine was able to hime from about 95-130 and he killed faster than most DKs.

you should customize your build to your training spots
max avenger yield better results at spiders and raiders and max alchemist will be best for newties

Wow that sounds pretty sweet. Pot costs won't be too high with a Priest, am I correct? Although I think it'll be hard to find one with the new EXP change.
@Cookies, see the problem is i haven't really decided since I don't know exactly what the best training spots are. I still don't know if I'm going to Jr.Newties or Nightshadows, and now that Kurtle says Himes is also an option at lv95, I'm confused

Won't cost much at all with a Priest, beware of 2HKOs though. One wrong move, or one small lag could cost you 5% EXP reduction. I never Hime'd-train, a lot of Hermits told me they liked it, personally, I hated it. I enjoyed spamming L7+SP more than I did Avenger+SP, because Avenger is really linear..., and it's hard to use it, because if you don't have enough space, you'll just end up punching a Himes.

Yes I agree with using L7+SP is better, however if the EXP is worth it, that's what I'll do.

well i agree with kurtle. himes are indeed fast. if you want to do that, then its avenger -> FJ since you'll be mobbing and hopping over the map alot.
i've heard nice stories about raiders til 90 and a bit more and i know for sure that himes is very nice in terms of exp even during 4th job. its just that my playing style is quite like a hermit. i dont like playing in public maps. i rather confine myself in a dungeon where i know that i can grind for hours and take occasional bathroom breaks without having to worry that someone will come take my map.

Yeah that is also true. So it seems like I'll be maxing Avenger first and Jr.Newting from lv85-95, then himing from there? The only problem I find with Himes is that I'm not going to like pressing pot button every 2 seconds if I don't find a priest to train with.
