Yeah yeah, I know.. 2x exp and nobody wants to waste it.. but the PQs are still a great way to make money and new friends, mirite? So does anyone plan on doing any of them? xd

Probably just CPQ.

The point of a new server is to level until you are at the top. Friends come after you´ve done it.

...You can't be serious, can you? I doubt anyone here will every be at the "top" of Yellonde, and if they are, I doubt they'll last for long.
On topic: I'll probably PQ quite a bit. Friends > levels any day of the year. ;)

Yes, I am dead serious.
It´s OBVIOUS that new servers are not made to make new friends. First comes the leveling and the drama to get to the top. Then after the IMPORTANT thing is out of the way, people make friends.

I think that is exactly the point of new servers, simply grind and you'll meet people wherever you go... :f2:

To be honest, there are two ways Yello could go imo. The majority of people who stick to it in the long run may be the ones who pace themselves early on, or it may be the ones that race to 4th job before the exp event ends.. Mardia and Kradia proved that both are possible, right?
Anywho I just know how much certain PQs help when starting fresh.. some are very profitable for those who can't afford to abuse 4x, obtain pot money / equip money through NX means, and transfer hawt equips and such (if they allow that), etc. Point of thread was to find other people willing to PQ, 'cause it's probably gonna be hella hard to find people for 'em looking at the odds. :V
Conciente has a valid point though, for a lot of people that IS the number one objective and while some quit and others don't, it's still a widely held perspective by many and never fails to show itself. ;X Chronic server hoppers already have friends in the other chronic server hoppers though so that kind of makes things simpler in instances when party abuse can = faster rank climbing, too.
Edit: Eff typos.
Edit#2: It's pointless to mention this, but I am hella surprised at no announcement for an extension getting this close to the end of the patch time. (I probably just jinxed it, but whatevz).
Half the CPQ EXP in later levels comes from killing the monsters. If I was going to restart in Yellonde, I'd CPQ. Something like:
1-10: Maple Island
10-20: Caution: Falling Down
20-30: Excavation Site
30-50: CPQ!
50-60 STDs
60-70 Voodoos...
And then the rest I don't know. Assuming you have potions and are decently equipped.

I'm not funded, I don't have NX, I'm probably going to do CPQ and LMPQ. :\
If I do get NX on the rare occasion, I'm going to get married and get a few hundred apples and see how the pricing goes.

Since Voodoos, etc. will be jam packed, I think I might just LMPQ instead.

No one in Yellonde is decently equipped.

Imma cPQ.
Get the other items (not the necklace), NPC, rinse, wash and repeat.
Or, get a Necklace, and put it in the MTS (when it's working) and either buy Gacha or x2 EXP/Drop.

It doesn't fail at all. Maybe you failed at it. o_o
At 3x, it's better to go with map 5/6 using 3v3 because you can just stand and kill the same robo. Depending on your class, after that 3v3 or 2v2 (based on the skills you chose). I.E. A sin with crit maxed is better off killing the bottom in 5/6, while an I/L or warrior is better off using thunderbolt or slash blast in 3/4.. with of course, mass summons. It's much better exp during 3x and early 4x than it is later 4x, providing you don't have a card. >.>

For mages if you have an awesome leader getting in and you're level 25+ or something, you don't use a single MP pot per KPQ and it gets you like 15% per PQ. I don't know about anyone else, but for mages it's great EXP AND Money. KPQed 21-30 got through it in a basically 2 days, but it was well worth it.
