I have always been bad with timing and during the prime of the Aran release I have decided to continue this trend and release a Warrior-Hero all in one Damage/Training calculator.

I know that there are a million damage/accuracy calculators out there and probably just as many warrior spreadsheets. I wanted to make a warrior calculator that actually told me which mobs to kill based on my level, accuracy/mob avoid, weapon/skill damage, mob w. defense, HP/XP ratio, and spawn rates. This calculator integrates all of these things and uses the data to provide a suggested list of Mobs on which to train. Virtually every mob/boss in the game has been loaded with stats in this spreadsheet. This sheet also uses your damage and calculates the best combinations of Power Guard, Slash Blast, Coma, and Panic so you can more efficiently train.

Before you get started there are some things you should know.

1. Besides the actual formulas in the calculator, and some creativity needed to design this sheet, all other information has been taken from other sources. Credit should be given to, HS.net for mob data and weapon damage formulas, Fiel/LazyBui for weapon and attack speed data, AGF/Stereo for Mob w. defense reduction formulas, RFSurg for combo attack data, Devil's Sunrise for Slash Blast-FA calculations, and Russt for order of operations and the great Maplestory Formula Compilation. I will add to this as I realize everyone who I have forgotten about.

2. This sheet takes a little time to set up for the first time because it requires you to plan out your AP distribution through level 200. You need to fill in information for all light blue boxes on the Stats tab for the sheet to calculate properly. To help you with this there is a tab labeled “Stats-example” that will show you a properly filled out sheet along with some more detailed directions.

3. Take special interest in cell B15 on the stats tab. All of the data in the “Stats” tab is directly tied to the Mob that you select from the dropdown in this cell. The first 20 mobs listed will always me regular mobs, the next 10 mobs will always be bosses, and for all the damage whores out there, the last mob on the list (#31) will always be a snail. This is so you can see your max damage potential. Since it is difficult to see all options in dropdown menus in Excel, the list of Mobs is also located to the right of the sheet highlighted in green and yellow.

4. This is an Excel calculator in .xls format and is “formula heavy”. I have done testing on this sheet and protected cells that should not be modified, but like any excel based calculator, you can break this sheet if you try to do so, or are careless with key strokes. For example, adding skill points to panic or coma before adding to combo attack may return damage values, but in the game we all know this is not possible. Because there is so much data in this spreadsheet, there is some lag that occurs when changing inputs. If this annoys you, turn off the automatic calculations in excel and use the manual F9 method. This will prevent you from getting pissed at me and this sheet.

5. All cells besides the ones with a blue background color are calculated cells. Messing with the non-blue cells should be done at your own risk and will most likely break the sheet. In other words, only modify cells with a blue background.

As corny as it sounds, I made this sheet because I decided that it was time to give something back to this great website. I am constantly reading posts that give great insight into this game, and never respond or leave my opinion to help my fellow players. This is my chance to help some of you out with a different kind of calculator. I would honestly be thrilled if just one other person found this calculator helpful. I am open to all comments (negative, constructive, or positive), questions, and suggestions. Feel free to let me know if this sheet sucks ass, but please tell me what would make it better.

I am currently working on several additions to this calculator such as, adding rush damage calculations, creating a more accurate DPS using weapon speeds, Cost/Profit data, and character damage taken from mobs. This is so that the sheet gets smarter with the mob/boss suggestions that it provides. I am also working on a similar sheet for Aran’s. If there is interest from all of you, I will post updated versions by editing this post.

Feel free to message me in game or on Southperry with questions.

This post and the calculator are mean to be exclusively on Southperry.net. Please respect my wishes and do not repost this calculator elsewhere or pretend that it is your own.
