I've been lagging for the last 5 days, I ended up reinstalling MS but the lag just keeps coming back, you know how to help me =[?

Other games are working fine and my internet loading speed and such are fine, mind helping me out pals?:f2:

Few things I noticed:

Your internet isn't the fastest around, video card driver out of date, you are on a weird resolution setting and 16bit colour.

Yeah, I know I don't have that fast internet, but thats never been a problem.

Video cards drivers are out of date eh? I'll try and figure that one out.

My screen resolution setting are set for my moniter, but should be be set to 32bit?

http://forums.amd.com/game/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=31625 I think that applies to you.

What brand/model number is your monitor? Most monitors are 32bit colour :S

Still not working, I mean my internet is running fine... but I'm lagging like a dialuper >_> Maple's got no FPS lag its just weird...

Edit~
Somthing to add, I tryed pinging some sites, and here's how it is...

Google.com = 100% (4) (60ms)
Nexon.net = 100% (4) (90ms)
And nprotect = 0% (4loss)

What would this mean? GG lagging me or somthing? o.0

Yea you have a internet problem :) How are you connected to the internet? Computer > Router > Modem > intarwebz?

Timed out pings do not mean there's an internet problem; they could simply be blocked by a firewall rule, and are not an indicator of network performance in this case. GG is not lagging you. lol

Since you said other games are working fine, and your internet seems to be working fine for other stuff in general, I'm guessing that your ISP (or the routers between your ISP and the Nexon servers) have messed up route tables. What this means is, routers might not be able to forward packets to the Nexon servers efficiently. Another cause could be a technical failure at the ISP, causing link congestion. There could be a firewalling/trottling rule on the ISP, which mistakenly slows down Maple's connection. Finally, you might have a firewall on your computer that's screwing with your connection.

Some things to try:
1) Try pinging 63.251.217.13 -- I believe this is the IP for the Nexon MapleStory game servers. Paste the result here, I'm just curious. lol
2) Disable any firewall you have.
3) Unplug your modem, wait about 20 seconds, and plug it back in. This will reset your connection.
4) Some ISPs seem to have bad performance with Maple, except when you have a VoIP connection running, such as Skype and/or Ventrilo, so try connecting to those. I don't know how those ISPs' weird bandwidth shaping rules are written, but it has helped two friends of mine with their lag problems before. I guess they give your connection higher priority if they see you using Vent. Oh well.

But unfortunately, I have the feeling that you haven't made any changes to your PC/network setup to make this lag appear. It's likely a problem with your ISP. So...
5) Call your ISP and tell them you're getting very high network latency (lag) with Maple's game servers. They might ask you for Maple's IP, for them to test the connection themselves.
6) Submit a ticket with Nexon. In the past, there have been lag issues that were caused by Nexon's network equipment. I remember they were asking for people who were lagging to submit tickets, but that was over a year ago. Still, doesn't hurt to do it.

Pinged them, all worked, ran about 100ms (99~108ms)

I'll try that skyp thing but umm, can I use it without talking to other people? xD I'm not into the talking to online friends in that way kinda thing.

Yeah I'll plan on contacting my ISP.

Thats all for now.

eh...everything? Post new specs for your computer. I think you don't have SP3 installed...idk if it will fix it or not..

also...reset your router to factory settings, reconfigure it and reset the modem to factory settings too. check for new firmware versions too.
