Story issue with Testosterone and Kyrin?

So...I remember what Nexon posted that comic about Pirate's just before they were released. It mentioned that Testenon, Kyrin's father, fought to stop the black magician...so, how would this exactly make sense? Aran was frozen, Athena/Helena is an elf, so she lives for a really long time. But, Testenon seemed to be just an ordinary person. Yet wasn't the Black Mage alive hundreds of years ago in the Maplestory time line? It said in that comic that when Kyrin was child he disappeared, but looking at Kyrin in game see doesn't seem old and she doesn't look like an elf.

An event, which Athena did not care to elaborate on, caused the two continents to split apart into their current shape. A great hero named Testonen had fought against the Black Magician, a terrible ruler who caused the people of Ossyria to flee to Victoria. Testonen was able to subdue the Black Magician, at least temporarily, and thus granted Victoria Island a period of relative peace."

So...if this is a long time ago in ages past, how could Kyrin still be alive? Can someone explain to me what the :pineapple: is going on? o.o

Wait, Testonen actually fought the black magician? That makes my idea for the pirate legendary actually plausible :D

How about Testosterone (or Testonen, if that's how you roll) being some other kind of non-human? I would say that she's of another race, one that is almost identical to humans as well. No elves.

For the pirate I think it would be awesome if it was Kyrin's dad. Revived by the five job masters (Athena, Kyrin, Grendel, Dark Lord, and Dances) but without any memory of what occured. His quests would be mostly regaining his memories and finally revenge.

I mean, if he was friends with Athena Pierce there's always a chance he is super old too, which would make it possible for him to be one of the 5 heroes. He could be the captain of the ship seen in Aran gameplay, haha.

I asked this question not too long ago :goggle: I would say Testenon died about 20(?) years ago based on how old Kyrin looks, and how old she was in the comic. But then the Black Mage died about 200-400 years ago, which doesn't match up pretty well :f1:

Sorry, I searched Testosterone before posting. Never noticed that his name was Testenon. But yeah, it doesn't seem to make sense storyline wise from all other information on the Black Magican. o.o

Edit: Fixed name, I keep getting the wrong name for him. =.=

I don't think he said he was directly fighting for the black magician. I think he was just searching for him. Don't remember that well though. Either way it's a comic, you can take it or leave it as far as lolcontinuity goes.

Even if Testonen turns out to be the Pirate Legend, it wouldn't make sense to have so many clones of him running around.

Or am I missing something? Is Aran one hero, or a group of them?

Aran is the name of the hero that uses polearm. so yea, Aran is one person, not a race.
