Purple surfboard

Okay so i've played a fighter/sader/hero for over 3 years now and im finally going to get started on my next project, an aran.
now i've been doing some research and all and one of the things hear a lot about quite often is the "purple surfboard". a lvl 95 polearm with a high base speed.

I'd like to know what versions of ms have purple surfboards; what their stats/ weapon speeds are in different versions, when they got released and how they where obtainable.

i know there is a pretty big chance we'll never get the purple surfboards but im still interested in the story behind it.

IIRC, the Purple Surfboard is called the Gold Surfboard in our version. But... it's been a while since our last full out surfboard event.

the lvl 15 look-alike is called Gold surfboard, im not sure wether this is the case with the lvl 95 version. is it even in our data? maybe i can find an extraction

Oh, my mistake. The Gold Surfboard looks purple and the regular Surfboard looks gold... -_-;;

Anyways, the level 95 surfboard is the Red Surfboard. I can't even remember when they last dropped.

thats the thing, there are 2 lvl 95 surfboards, a red one and a purple (maybe named gold) one. i know some other versions have them but global does not have the purple surfboard version.

Mmm... I checked the JMS and MSEA database but they only have the Red Surfboard (Level 95 version) released. The Purple Surfboard is indeed in our data however.

The level 95 Purple Surfboard was released in GMS a while ago. It's currently Gachapon only and very very rare.

ok so apparently nexon released them a little while back with the dragon chairs. does anyone know what gachapon it came from back then, and what gahcapon it still comes from?

Although not as good, it is worth mentioning that the lvl 95 red surfboard is slightly faster than a regular pole arm.

i saw only 1 a while ago in bera for 30m "level 95 Req w/ fast atk speed i think". Very rare i think, never saw a second board till now.

Lol even before any knowledge of Aran, a purple lv 95 surf would be worth waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than 30mil.

Not to name names, but a basil DrK bought it and broke it on the first slot.


zgtaf3 does have one, he bought it for some amount that is phenomenally high cause he has lots of money to throw around.

They do get the gach smega, so if one does get gacha'd you will see it

Not as good, but I am selling a few maple snowboards in windia. Also some maple PAs. They are pretty good for mid levels, the snowboards are from 2006 though so it might be hard.

The damage calc varies according to the rest of equips, but to me it seemed to equal a 168 Diesra...

Also is that gMS?
I thought its a myth! Only seen in kMS...

Yeah, we know they exist. We also know that a ton of them should come from the Aran events if GMS doesn't change anything.

Unless you're talking about it dropping from a monster, but it's not like it will matter when they cost less than 5 million a piece.

If i remember correctly, I believe they were a temp item from either gacha or gacha boxes. But as far as getting one now i doubt you would be able to even in your server. A friend of mine was buying them all up in broa to scroll a godly one.

When you get the event that gives you those you get stuff like surfboards from them. Also, you can get ice cream bars, and other stuff I don't remember.

MSEA has them dropping from monsters... and SSB too.

115 for 1.3b... that's 132 Arcglaive for 1.3b. Sometimes I wish I played Scania/Bera. In MTS arcglaives are very expensive, I can only imagine how much a 130+ would be, there.

The blue icebox was for a summer event, which we didn't get (hey Surfboards are from Gacha instead!)... notice how it says it ends Aug 31 2009?

That was released when Aran was released. Since we are getting Aran it's very likely we are also going to get the same event.

did maplesea get this event with their aran release too ? i see a lot of purple surfboards in their ranks but that might just be because higher leveled people are richer in general

Their Purple Surfboards actually drop from the monsters.

I know of someone in Broa who has 3 of them i think. theres only 4 or 5 known of in Broa and he has 3

Their surfboards came from a summer event, which had nothing to do with Aran. They would have gotten purple surfboards anyway if they hadn't gotten Aran.

Aran =/= Purple Surfboard
