Except the iTCG and the online game don't have to follow each other exactly. Just because it was released in the iTCG but not the online game doesn't really mean anything. If it was in an iHint or something else, then it would be more plausible.

Coke Town is free, in KMS. It didn't start that way but how it DID start was you needed a code off of Coke cans or something. Not a big deal since Coke is something I would be buying anyway and I'd be more than happy to share codes. :p

Coke Town data has been there since Coke Town was invented. It goes in and out from time to time, just like many other things such as Showa, but it always has been and in the end really, always will be. It means nothing.

Maybe he works at a store that sells them, and he either sneaked a peak at them or his manager let him have them.

Like I said before: I never said we would get it now, I said we might get it in the near future. BTW to proof of these "drastic" changes, Androo from SW put pictures of the cards, but IDK why he didnt put an Ice Golem card picture. Maybe hes lieing to us? There might not even be an Ice Golem in this next pack...well have to wait and see. I sent him a PM, asking if he could give us a picture of the Ice Golem card. Deff from SW said he would post some card scans soon. Androo also said he would post the card names, and all the code prizes either, after the patch or whenever he gets the chance to do it.

If the Golem is real, it still does not justify Coke Town. It could be in Masteria....
Also, why would Nexon want to release Coke Town, of all things? When Magatia, Masteria, and Area Bosses still need to release, why bother with Coke Town?

The fact that those two Coketumps didn't make this kind of controversy is interesting.
If two Coketumps that appear in all starter sets doesn't cause this Coke Town argument, why does an Ice Golem, which is uncommon, do so?

This has happened before with another new set. The Maple server wasn't configured to use the new codes, as the cards aren't released yet, to my understanding. We need a server check or a patch to make the new codes usable.

T-1337 looks more like an NPC than an enemy. The cards say he lost his/its memory and is running out of power.

Likely, one of his/its quests involve finding power sources for him.

While Crimsonwood Keep always has been my most favorite of the hinted expansions, (I suppose mostly because of the veil of mystery that has slowly been lifted since the TCG came out.) I remain curious if some of the other areas we've heard of might also be packed in to this expansion, such as the Yetinx, Affluent Tower, or Krakia? (A simple "yes" or "No" will suffice for this question, I know you can't give details.)

None of the areas you mentioned are directly expanded in the new update. As far as Maps go. This answer will become clearer once this chapter is completed.

I'm a little surprised the person who came up with the name "t-1337" didn't go for the "delete" pun and make it "d-1337".

I suppose that kills the T-XXXX theme of terminator, but it infuses Internet humor and computer tech language. Especially since the computer analogue to death would be deletion.

Not saying this is real, just saying the person who came up with the name could have gone somewhere else with it. Also, I'm glad to see American pop culture characters potentially being lampooned. With the Super Sentai in Omega Sector, I had thought "gee, I wonder if Spider-man or Superman or Batman will ever pop up in Maple under a similar guise". Stirgeman is a great take on it too... If nothing else, I hope that part alone is accurate. I just hope they can make him serious, dark, and brooding, and don't take their Batman cues from the '60's camp.

EDIT: Oh and about the Coke thing, I'm pretty sure that if Nexon America had a deal with Coke (which they would HAVE to if they were to release COKE-based content that uses Coke's IP), we would have heard about it by now. If fake, this is a damn fine fake. Not just creation of fake cards with fake text, but original artwork as well. I'm going to go out on a limb and call these legit. Only thing I'm wary of is that they didn't scan the Ice Golem one.

Sorry, folks. Didn't realize the thread received so much activity when I slept for a few hours.

What do you guys think about the "Stirge-on-a-string"? Batarang analogue? Throwing star? One hand sword that works in a way similar to the way the 1h sword whips work?

As for Coke Town, there's no need to add it to Masteria. For one, it'd cheapen what they've been striving so hard to build. For two, it's already 100% permanent in KMS and exists in that netherworld of easy reach from anywhere just like Happyville or KMS Amoria.


hmm, interesting stuff. I am willing to believe T-1337 even if I think it's a little dumb, however I agree that Stirgeman is pretty clever. I get the feeling though that he is gonna be pretty goofy. Stirges are especially appropriate because they already wear masks. XD

How do you figure that? The only thing mentioned on here which could even possibly be related to Krakia is the Robot, and as far as we know there are no items related to this robot. They package it with either the release of Happyville/Versalmas celebrations or use it as something to patch at the end of the season.

To clear it up a little bit, don't think of Stirgeman as our brooding hero atop Bigger Ben, but as the lighter and more campier Adam West version.
A Stirge on a string is just that, a Stirge on what is mostl likely a slighly springy string used to "simulate the movements of a realy angry and scary Stirge". Like those cheesy Halloween decorations, or stuff used to scare little kids.
I can't tell if they did a good job on the Athena Pierce card, so just a minor question who plays the game.
While Athena is known as the Bowman instructor, She is also known as the hardest 3rd job boss(shes a killer of men, bowmen specifically). Does she keep that title?

An example of some of the indirect references would be the story segments included in the card game bonuses.

If that was so, that would leave masteria not much larger than Vic.
There is no way to base any assumption (including mine) on how big a place is just by that map. CWK and Phantom Forest will likely require another map, and that's just west.

Anyone able to actually play Athena Pierce should have several Bowman cards under their character, especially if the deck is pure Bowman.

By the time you're able to actually use the attack, you'd have at least three Bowman cards under your character, which is 60 damage. If I'm reading the effect correctly, you do an attack for every Bowman card under your character, which can be used to decimate your opponent's monsters. At level 80, you'd be doing 160 damage with her.

It's a very good card.

Until they add the area, I don't believe that the NPC(he has quests) will be in game. Most likely they'll only be partially mentioned in the storyline. I figure that November is the earliest month you could expect something of decent size for Krakia.

Since the sign for Vineland is smack dab in the middle of NLC, I think it'd be more likely to occupy the space next to the map of Mesogears.

I think the theme park will either be on that island over there or to the left of NLC.

We don't know which way that subway is going. It could go under Ossyria, for all we know, and that patch of land is Masteria.

The earring is a new equip. It's been in the data for a while, according to Isaac. Whether it has to do with Wolf Spiders or Vineland is yet to be determined. The wristband may be a new equip, but it could also be a quest item (or maybe both, like the Hero's Gladius).

Now we know that some of the iHints are real...like the one on the daimond dagger.
The release date for Set 4 might be tomorow because someone on SW said that the cards he bought are shipping to his house tomorrow.

They didn't cite Coca-Cola as the copyright holder though. Usually it would appear as "COKE®" I believe. At the very least, the text at the bottom of the card should identify The Coca-Cola Company, yet all it identifies are Wizards' and Nexon's copyrights.

Almost seems to me like they didn't realize Coke is an existing IP, although we all know that that's simply not possible. There certainly hasn't been any public notification about a deal between Nexon America and Coca-Cola, but if there is, it should be public any day now.

If they dont have a Coke contract yet then why can they put Coke on the card?

Even if you miss the "Coke Play" logo integrated into the golem (which I know almost all of you did), you'd still be right, because that logo is also a standard design for power.

Either that, or they're banking on not being sued over it, or perhaps they got permission to use the word "Coke" just in reference to a town which may or may not be coming out eventually. Like if a monster was released whose location was identified as "El Nath Dracula Castle", it doesn't mean that we'll necessarily EVER get it, it just means that as far as the card game continuity is concerned, that is where this monster's home is, even if this location doesn't exist in the actual game.

ugh... No, the stuff that the character art is using are not real weapons. It's just artwork.

Yeah, remember that the Bellflower card had its location marked as "Bakcho Village" which is a horrifically bad translation of the original name of Herb Town. That doesn't mean there will ever be a place called Bakcho for real.

Either way , Mu Lung was probably used for good reason, even if "muerung" is a correct translation, for one thing, Mu Lung is using words that are already in the english language, and is easier to pronounce than "muerung", for another, I think Mu lung sounds better than "muerung".

Notifying Wizards wouldn't do much. At this point, those cards will have a wide release within a few days, even if Wizards were to try to stop it.

What Nexon needs to do is one of the following:

#1: Patch normally, release the content they were planning on, and just in time for the TCG set coming out Tuesday.
#2: Patch, but don't release anything. Just add the new items for TCG codes. Put up a notice explaining the content patch has been delayed, but they needed to patch to get in items for TCG.
#3: Put up a notice informing players that even though the TCG set is out, the codes aren't active yet. Tell everyone to wait until the patch to input new codes.

I'll go out on a limb and say that by Tuesday morning, a new patch will either be live or about to go live, even if Crimsonwood Keep is still delayed. I don't think Nexon is foolhardy enough to let the TCG set come out, but not have the client compatible with it.

They won't screw around with the keep, its gonna be option one.

Separating the data is redundant, rather then spend their time trying to create a patch just to add a few items(the quests wouldn't be added, just the items to initiate em). The keep has a few important npcs for this iTCG expansion.

The patch happens this week, keep an eye out for it.

It was either bugs, wanting to patch mid week, or a plan to double up on content(iTCG and CK).
Maybe one, but most likely all.
I'm keeping to my guess that it will have to happen this week, it has to happen due to the public release of timed content.

The area will be needed due to said content. There is always a possibility of a EMP(emergency patch) after the client is upgraded, mainly due to the delays that have been encountered.

Otherwise, stop taking it like they stole your candy, the patch will be up when its ready.
