Indeed, BACCANO! was a great series. Apparently it didn't do so great in Japan though, sales-wise.

It didn't do well here either.. I keep hearing people rant about it, ticks me off. I think it's because they didn't sit down, watch it, and actually TRY to understand it. That's the main complaint "It didn't make sense, it was all over the place"

Ah, excellent. A thread about Baccano after I first sat through it a few months ago. I didn't really get a grasp on the main plot or main focus of Baccano. I did understand everything that happened though.
Isaac and Miria really helped make the series for me. I always thought that they always seemed to balance out the plot for Baccano, which was immortal alchemists running around and murdering people in gruesome manners, by making it feel a lot more steady and light-hearted, which was really all along the mindset that Baccano aimed for. They gave a lot of nice comedic moments that worked out excellently, and hell, they made the ending of the show VERY awesome. I just LOVED the ending where they.... in the 21st century, finally realize they were immortal, or when they "stole the hats" from the hat store when they payed up for em.
Last but not least, just... "The Rail Tracer". Friggin' awesome.

Definitely.. Isaac and Ladd made the series for me. Comedy and badassery is just win.

the most bad ass person is the rail tracer though, he can kick immortal ass and he isnt one of them!! jacuzzy is great too, when he finds his testicles he is crazy awesome.
