Somthing thats been bugging me...

okay so Its just anoying me alittle bit what people keep comparing pirates too mainly that

sin = gunslinger
dit = infighter

IMO its the EXACT opposite...
gunslingers are SO long ranged dits...think about it, flashy,low damage,strategic and FAST! just straight out FAST

as for Infs
Low wep atk,Crits,and every point makes a diff..their close up sins...I mean cmon Just look at their damage + skill set..I understand that people obvoiously compared them acording to playing style but ..I think that its missleading..and did people forget what kinda DMG mages have in 1st-3rd job and they get by just fine so I think that gunslingers will be np at all..specialy cus their fast paced....I'm pretty sure this is a useless post but I just had to get it off my mind...Oki thanks..comment if you want...

Comparing classes is stupid. They are all different.

It's like comparing Warriors, Thieves and Bowmen to each other.

Although Sins could be compared to Archers, and Warriors could be compared to Dits, it's completely stupid, cause they have more differences then alikes.

Shad & Viper = High dmg attacks (numers per hit are higher) - Slower attacks - Can take lots of dmg
NL & Captain = Low dmg attacks (numers per hit are lower) - Fast attacks - Ultra low HP / Die in a whimp - Flash Jump & Backshot is the same

If you look closely you'll see that they look more like archers than thieves. I mean, rapid fire(hurricane) the freeze/fire attacks(blizzard/inferno) and then the summons. I don't really see why people compare them to thieves when they obviously look like bowman (except for Infighters.)

I think the only fact they compare Gunslingers to Bowmen is the fact they use DEX as their main stat, and use STR as a secondary. Then theres the fact that they are ranged.

they are more like bowmen, with a similar playstyle to thieves. think of it as a sin/archer hybrid?

You know what class pirates compare best against? Themselves. I don't see why everyone's comparing pirates to other classes, they're their own class. ._.

It's as everyone else says, gunslingers are like archers with all the weaknesses (low HP), and none of the benefits (no buffs).
