C-Rogs, or area bosses for tokens?

I've had a really bad day where I couldn't find a single area boss that wasn't being tracked, not even the ones like Mushmom. Should I give up on an average of 30 tokens every 45 minutes (yet unreliable) and go for the more stable C-Rogging, or should I keep trying and hopefully find an area boss to camp? I wasted hours today going from Vic to Orbis to Ludi and back, yet the night before I got a good 80ish tokens in a few hours at Sage Cat undisturbed with full track.

This is Bellocan if it matters, so it's not populated like hell like Scania or Bera.

i hunt at night, that said i havent been on for this new token stuff but night hunting has always worked well for me.

Yea, hunting at night works. I've goten 96 coins off deo alone since the patch (skipping a few days). I reccomend just going to far out places, or even faust, or 'Dile

(Saying about that, I gotta extend my target list of area bosses so I won't have to rely on a single source. >_>)

Nexon didn't say "AREA BOSSES DROP TOKENS HOLY S'HIT GO FARM THEM UP". They just said bosses, which male boss is.

That being said, i went to go kill a few right after the patch and none of them dropped anything.

From the looks of it, I suggest a few solutions to this:
- King Sage Cat + Tae Roon (Heck, I don't even know where Tae Roon spawns)
- 2x Pap/day
- KPQ with friends + Karma Scissor (5~8 mins per PQ, 20~32mins per 5~6 Tokens, constant, consistent)

I just stayed on the ch at snowman until it spawned. Never got KSed, and everyone else just kept bouncing around the chs. I ended up killing a whole 20 chs in a row because the other people hunting just kept bouncing.

Wow are you lucky! I'm only leveled (28) enough to hunt Mano and Stumpy. Last night I finally manged 10 tokens in one hour with some serious tracking of Mano. Ended up with 24 all total for 5 hours. Not all the drops had a token. Late night too. I wish I was able to take down Mushmom or Deo. Now I know how people were able to get the purple witch's belt just a day or two after the patch. :goggle::poast:

Try earlier. I had a Shadower and a Bowmaster appearing in every other channel that I tried to go to.

Geno has an AM there. Elija had a 19x Hero. Tae Roon was hunted by an alliance member (16x AM). Sage cat had a 161 BM. Two of the lesser known area bosses had newbies every 3-5 channels. Stumpy also had newbies. Old Fox had a 101 Thunder Breaker.

Sigh. It's a pain being in this event if I keep playing the nice guy.

Does anyone know if Gatekeeper/Thanatos drops Tokens? Or Chief Grays? Because those are the only "bosses" I can think of that spawn quickly with several at a time (except maybe Rombot).

Gatekeeper and Thanatos aren't bosses, and Chief Grays do not drop Tokens. Yeah.

I'm guessing the fact that everyone is just rushing through channels is whats making it impossible for me to see all 3 at once.

Tokens have a high drop rate but they aren't guaranteed to drop with every kill.

MT-09 and Rombot are not like other area bosses. You don't get a blue message when they spawn. As a result, they will not spawn if the map has reached the maximum number of monsters on the map. You will have to kill a few monsters to check.

Kimera is an option only if you have done the Magatia quests that allow entry into the map.

MT-09 is the best token place to hunt. I made 10tokens in ch surfing 1-13 twice, this is in Kradia. I did this twice and made 20tokens today. My goal is around 15-30tokens a day and buy belts to sell. So that I can buy a speed with decent atk belt.

I'm sorry they piss me off. I met a shadower on the ship who was unable to leave, due to the time. So we partied and decided to split if crogs came that trip.

Crogs are frustrating takes me 2 hours on a bad day to get 10 coins... but its easier then getting ksed at area bosses..

Edit: If you have access to area bosses, and you know that they are usually there then stick with what your doing now.. If they rarely show go Crogs..

My guild and I share area bosses. One guy might get ahold of a spawn, and then when he's done he'll let someone else take it.
