Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Whenever I do Storm Break, I do a arrow shoot animation instead of swinging my bow

It's not the missing one,it got changed though.
JMS did this some patches ago,looks better though.

As a wind archer, the previous animation made more sense to me, throwing out a whirlwind instead of... shooting it?
Also the attack is much slower now, reducing Storm Break's herding value by a hell of alot.
You tellin' me this is the way it's *supposed* to be? If so, that sucks. :f1:

Storm Break has always had a slight delay between casts, but a newly-introduced delay between cast and movement... :f7:. It can look as good as it wants, but now we can't move until that arrow animation ends. I really hope it wasn't implemented on purpose :f4:.
Has anyone tested whether or not it consumes arrows now? I didn't test it before the SC started. It'd be an upside to this if it did use arrows I guess.

I can still use it without Soul Arrow, and I never have arrows with me ever since Lv. 34 or so, so it doesn't consume arrows.
I actually think it looks worse now, the original animation was way cooler. That and the annoying delay between attacking and walking actually made me use Arrow Rain(which is only Lv. 5)! Guess I'll have to train with just Strafe until they fix it because it's really hard to play with properly right now.

You could always Typhon with AR. I did it with level 1; it was decent (not as good as 17/max, but still decent).

News flash: Nexon decided to exchange some Storm Breaks speed for a faster Wind Piercing (the next animation starts before the other is done!). I really hope that if they fix this bug they leave Wind Piercing as it is right now, because this way it's much more usefull. I still wonder why the animation changed, but maybe it's because they messed with Soul Driver.
Also, KMS has both Soul Driver and Storm Break they way we recieved them, but I think Nexon took some of the JMS skill data to aid the sad Dawn Warriors who thought their attack was too slow (even though it was the way it was intended to be), causing Storm Break to also become the JMS version, which is worse.
@ Resonance: I don't think I can effectively kill Typhons with my max damage of 1565 (with attack potion).

I noticed the spammability of Wind Piercing too (equivalent to Arrow Rain, where the first Piercing is pretty slow, whereas holding the key will make it spamtastic). I didn't know it was slower since I've only had it since Wednesday.
But yeah, the change in Storm Break is definitely making me not want to use the skill - I've been using AR on everything as opposed to Storm Break because of the delay.
If you have USE space, you could carry Diamond Arrows and Ciders (assuming you completed Taggrin's first quest) for a 12 ATT boost over Soul Arrow and Warrior Elixirs. I remember I used ~2000 arrows per 45 minutes at level 71 with level 4 AR at Typhon. Diamond Arrows stack 1000 per... I don't know if Red Arrows are 1000 or 2000; I've never really cared since Diamond Arrows were readily available in Masteria.

Storm break fixed. Yay.
Edit: Fixed when not in transform mode, apparently. Oh well.
