what it does is allows you to forge most of the genreal equips with better stats than normal using various jewel ores

The purpose is making items with ores, and stuff, I think.

um... Fiel had all that data in a thread, but that was on sleepywood so it no longer exists. Because he had that I didn't keep track of it. But yes, all the Jewels are usable, and they all add different stats (note that for whatever reason, Lidium is considered a Metal, so it doesn't apply). they even created a new type of jewel, called the Secret Crystal:

I don't think this is available in game yet, however it reduces the required level. Seems rather pointless if you ask me, since it doesn't reduce the stats need to equip it (as far as I know, I may be wrong). Though, if you used 3 high grades of this, you could reduce the level requirement by 9. Wouldn't be very useful to you, since you need to be at least 5 levels away to equip it, but it might be good for certain people. This also doesn't have an ore form, so perhaps it is made by blending the other crystals together. It's speculation at this point.

Diamond: Weapon Attack [1, 2, 3]
Sapphire: Magic Attack [1, 2, 3]
Garnet: Accuracy [2, 3, 5]
Opal: Avoid [2, 3, 5]
Aquamarine: Jump [1, 2, 3]
Amethyst: Speed [1, 2, 3]
Topaz: HP [10, 20, 30]
Emerald: MP [10, 20, 30]
Black Diamond: Random [1, 2, 3]
Dark Crystal: Random [2, 3, 5]
Power Crystal: STR [2, 3, 5]
DEX Crystal: DEX [2, 3, 5]
Wisdom Crystal: INT [2, 3, 5]
LUK Crystal: LUK [2, 3, 5]
Secret Crystal: Level Requirement [-1, -2, -3]

That's all I have. The numbers between [ ], depends on the grading the jewel has. So if you use a High Graded Diamond while forging, your weapon will have +3 Weapon Attack; if you use a Low Graded Topaz, whatever you made will have +10 HP.

Also, I don't know if this was mentioned, but you can only forge stuff that's like standard equipment. No Maple Weapons, no Shinobi Bracers, none of that kinda stuff.

Reducing levels, huh? so you could make a 119 or lower timeless equip? that'd be pretty useful.

Thanks for the stats Loose, I actually just went back to find my old thread on this at sleepywood (my thoughts at the time appear very disorganized. XD) and someone had copied the stats over from Fiel's thread, and they match what you have. So yeah, your information is correct.

...I have a crazy idea. Could you forge a secret crystal using the random forge option? Using a crystal of each... Could work.
