SP Reset Dilemma

Alright, so my friend just advanced to Bishop, and after much begging *Mostly to me*, he managed to find himself a HTPQ party.

After finishing the quest, we were both on our way to Orbis.
For some reason though, he believed that he had 3 SP for all of his jobs.
And because of that, he decided to put 3 points into Holy Arrow, the newb that he is...


Anyways here's the problem:
My friend argues that he should be using 4th Job SP resets (36k NX) to retrieve those lost points back, since he got those points from his 4th job Advancement.
I say that he should be using 2nd Job SP resets (14.7k NX) to reset those points, seeing as Holy Arrow is a 2nd Job move.

Either way, it would seem possible to take points from a 2nd Job move, and transfer it to the 4th Job.

Now this is/are the question(s):

Is it possible for him to get those lost points back?
If so, which reset should he use?

Uh... I think he would have to use a 4th job reset if he CAN use one

i'm pretty sure that it is possible and that it requires a 4th job reset. not exactly sure how its done, but i've heard of enough people using it when 4th job was released.

To reset he have to use a 3rd job reset scroll but he must use the reset skill point on another 2nd job skill becuase it cannot be used on a 3rd job skill. This happened long time ago so im not really sure if it's still there or fix.

I just used a 2nd job reset and basically you can only take one point out of a 2nd job and put it back in a 2nd job you can't put it back into a 3rd job skill or 4th. Same goes if you use a 4th job reset. So basically he screwed himself ;3

1) As already stated, it's not possible.
2) Don't waste your time using SP resets.

Since he 'wasted' it, just w/e.
He's a bishop anyways. There's nothing much to max after Genesis, because yea, you're just going to get Genesis, your main training skill 1 level late. Screw the three points. You get more points than you need anyways by the time you reach level 200. (which is way too long away to even consider right now.)

I would have to say, Test It. If I had to guess I would say he needs the 2nd job reset because it is in the 2nd job skills, and it is the cheaper one so its less of a loss if it doesn't work. if that doesn't work try a 4th job reset, theres no harm in trying, those 3 points are a big deal. especially at 120.

(Why in the hell, even if they were extra points, would he put them into HOLY ARROW?! the worst possible move in the game, it would be like putting points into energy bolt...)

Don't worry, it is resetable. I put a single point from 2nd job into Magic Armor (a 1st job skill) and I took it out later with a 2nd job SP reset so I could max slow with 3rd job points. Don't worry about it, the game appears to be able to tell the difference between a 2nd job SP and 1st job SP. I'm sure it'll work with 4th job SP... good luck :f2:
