How come that shield isn't gold? I thought that shield would for sure be considered "godly".

the color of the item actually depends on the total number of stats above average an item is. the shield is 35 stats above average (+14 str and +21 atk) which still ends up as purple. (i'm not too sure what number above avg it has to be in order to be gold)

an even odder case would be a 21 atk bwg, which would still be blue because it is 'only' 21 stats above average.

Orange up to 5, then Blue goes up to about +15 stats, purple to ~40, then yellow. It counts all stats an equip adds, compared to their averages.
Clean equips can pretty much be grey (below average), white (near average), or blue (5+ above average, I think)

Scrolls like 10% overall dex (9 stats) are more likely to hit yellow, I've seen it on as low as 26 dex sauna robes, since they're adding about 15 secondary stats as well.

Highest purple item I have is my Morningstar, 23 w.atk 12 str 3 wdef from average (38 total), and my Leomite might be the lowest - 13 atk 5 str (18 total) from average.

If you look in the first picture it gives 4 Str and has 10 slots, a normal Branch Nose gives 0-2 Avoid and has 7 slots; I'm guessing its a new item or something.

These were made purely by finding the items as well as all the scrolls. They were scrolled before MTS was available, and I don't use MTS on my islander. I just choose not to.

I'm currently 4/9 for using 10% scrolls that I found on NoJobNoRules. :D

I was going to use another 30% but was too chicken, so I ended up using 7 of them on a starry dana and that ended up at 4 acc. If I get more tomorrow and I am feeling lucky, I might use another 30% :D

I also scrolled a 18 STR / 2 DEX, 2 Acc Blue Neos Top, and a 19 STR / 2 DEX, 1 acc Blue Neos Top, along with:

19 STR / 2 DEX Dark Valkerie (for my gf, 7 70s landed w/ Legendary Spirit skill)
2 attack / 5 DEX, 2 slots left FaceStompers, broke on 4th slot when I used a 30%. -shrugs-

Seriously, stereo, just join a zakum squad and throw a few scrolls on your zakum helmet. 2,6acc per 70% is so worth the trouble.
The only places I can really gain stats right now without using AP resets are from my pendant (I have an average Spiegelmann), my shoes (I'm using 2str3dex9acc), and my top (13 str 6 dex). Once I upgrade the pendant to a Deputy Star, I'll have 8 more acc than I need, so I'll swap to some 5 str shoes I have (less acc) and then focus on extra str for my top, or a cape/shoe/weapon/glove w.atk upgrade (currently 3+0+115+12).

I don't really see the need to spend money on a couple extra dex from my ZHelm, cause I can't use the accuracy right now. I dunno how Broa prices are but I got my 70% bottomwear dex for cheaper than 70% helm acc anyway :/ Obviously at some point between now and 160 I'll have to get extra acc if I want to do Horntail, cause my current dex gear is only 137. For training, 128 is fine.

As far as I'm aware this is the best Guan Yu on EMS. I've seen two 91 ATT's with different STR bonuses, but none as good as this.

I highly doubt that estimate is very accurate. The only way the owner is going to get 80~150 is the owner continues scrolling and get at least 4 slots to work with 70%s. (Know that there's still a chance of breaking and most people won't risk that much money just to break it.)

Well, a 111 stat can get quite a bit more than that. And TBH I thought 82 was a bit better than 2 above avr, lol. Okay, ya under 50 probably then.
