Yea I know they are rare, did that quest the same day they released it. But still, not THAT hard to get.

I've found a single ring fragment relatively recently (since they accidentally removed those quests anyway) but in about an hour and a half of hunting I just found the 1.


A friend of mine who did the quest before, and tried again recently also said that they killed the droprate... first time took him about 4 hours, in the same time he only got 2 this item. I dunno if they've fixed that part yet.

I'm new to Southperry and read the rules, but couldn't find one about necro posting. I guess you prefer to keep a single thread about a single subject (like I do).

On topic: As I am on a questing spree lately, I found that I pretty much done everything except some really tough ones. Currently I'm doing the "Circle of Trust" quest and trying to obtain "Ring fragments" at the EOS-tower floor 9 from tweeters. I know it's a rare drop, but being there for over 2 hours with 2x drop buffs from Cassandra is making me doubt this item is still dropping at all.

My question is: has anyone obtained a ring fragment lately, or at least after the big bang patch? Or would someone be able to find it in Maple's data? Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue. I re-married, and I gotta re-do that quest. I wasn't able to get one single ring fragment in almost 1 hour of 2x Drop, and I doubt they're as rare as Lunar Dews, as I remember myself being able to get 20 in a whole afternoon+evening of hunting, back then. Can anyone else confirm this?

If anyone else is having the same issue, I guess it's that post-BB drop tables replaced old ones, making the ring fragments, which are for a GMS-exclusive quest, unobtainable. I'll report the bug if that's the case.

Similarly, I was wondering if "Lost!" was broken after Big Bang. it wouldn't surprise me if it is, but I've yet to spend time on it. (This is the one with the Elpam Magnets from Ticks.)

I DID try the Ring Fragment quest out however, and quickly gave up with it.

EDIT: I feel guilty of posting in an old post now. Man...
