I guess this can be put in here. If not feel free to move it mods to the appropiate section. Anywho I was wondering about any comcast users. Can you guys post ur speedtest and um tell me the pro's and con's about it? I am tired of my SBC dsl internet ;( And I would liike to switch but not switch till i get some info on it :P And please list if you have regular comcast or with power boost etc :P THX

I can sum up the pros and cons in one sentence: Comcast is nice and fast when it's working properly.

I do not have powerboost.

I know it's none of my business whether or not you torrent, but if you torrent frequently, switching over to Comcast might be something you really want to think about. Comcast has been known to slow down connections for those who use P2P software.

Another thing. Just because the Upload/Download speed for Comcast seems to be high doesn't mean it'll actually be as high. I've even found that my 3Mb/s DSL connection is faster than a 6Mb/s Comcast connection. If I were you, I'd do some research and see if FiOS is provided in your area. If it is, that would be my first choice. If it's not, just upgrade the speed of your DSL connection. Of course, you can switch to Comcast if you wish, but I've had too many bad run ins with Comcast to say anything good about them.
