How do you guys cope with bordom while playing?

(this is more directed at people who dont have 100+ friends with 400 ppl guild alliance ect)

I watch TV while I play. I don't get bored, usually. Maybe chat with your real friends on AIM or something, while you play.

Yeah use windows mode and surf teh interwebz...

Also depends on what I'm playing at the time... Am i griniding? Pqing? randomly dieing?

For me, I listen to whatever band I'm addicted to, it helps me a lot. Partying with people you know is also really fun.

I placed my TV next to my computer screen and watched TV while I'd train/spam genesis. & like the last person said, train with somebody interesting. I'd train for 12 hours a day with my most favorite person ever. :) Never ever gets boring.

Well, no one's forcing you to be on maple. When you're bored, just dont play. Its simple as that: Dont feel like playing? Then dont. (That's what I do anyways)

Alt+Enter + YouTube. Works well. Or if you're not into YouTube go for some good old fashion eat + MS, you get fat but it works...

I'm generally in some kind of 'trance' when I'm playing Maplestory (considering when I play, I mostly train). So I just sit, stare at the screen blankly, and listen to music. No way to get bored; I don't realize that I'm still training half the time. :f1:

Hah omg I am the same...I know what you mean about the "trance"! I actually enjoy training...and rarely get bored training, lol. Usually I have music playing though and am chatting with bl/guild.

When I get bored I just stalk people. Sometimes I go look at the prices of stuff in FM but that is generally depressing.


But if I am really bored, I just log off and I jump on southperry.

I chat with people over ventrilo usually. I rely on my buddy list/alliance/guild to keep me company. Rarely do I listen to music and if I watch TV I frequently die...

One awesome friend is better than 500 idiot friends. As long as I have one of the buddies who enjoys spending time with me online, I'll never get bored.

As people have mentioned before, No one is forcing you to play Maplestory. If you constantly get bored of the game, it might be time for you to move on. As for me; music, food, and horny buddies keep me going.

If I get bored, I go travelling around the place... Squids, pirate pq, mushmom, Jr balrog, Snowman, redoing quests, helping new people, go make bait for the goblin kings, Amoria pq, Henesys pq, getting lidium ores... And when Monster book comes, the challenge to get all cards :D

If I'm still bored after that, I go afk :p
