I'm a level 63 Ice/Lightning Wizard with fairly lackluster equipment, nothing really scrolled. 100%'d Evil Tale. Only thing that isn't up to date is my hat, simply because I like the one I already have. I'm estimating with Magic Guard I can take hits approaching 3500 damage, but I have no idea of how to reach Windraiders, or if I can really handle them. I've tried before, it was scary as hell, and I ended up just leaving NLC for the Golem minidungeon.

Is it a good idea to go there? And, from the mansion entrance, can somebody give me a detailed guide on how to get to them? Or, even better, actually guide me there. Server is Bera. I can follow directions though, so don't worry too much about guiding me.

I don't want to go to MP3, Magatia Lab, or Golems. Mainly because the first two are crowded as hell, and the last one is rather boring, and irritating to group enemies up in.

Edit: It just occurred to me I could've asked this in the ask-a-magician thread. Bah, sorry guys.

In that thread is a detailed guide of how to get there.

Windraiders is alot of pot burning but I think you can handle them. I would share with someone because the stormbreakers might be a bit hard for you to take on. The exp is awesome, I believe I leveled once every 30 minutes on 2x during my 6x :D. Well for my blaze wizard at least, I/Ls are similar to BW but definitely a little weaker.

Potions aren't a big problem anyway. I've got 15 mil I don't plan to spend on scrolls, and the ridiculously cheap Sorceror Elixirs are just amazing. I never leave home without 450 of them hangin' out in my inventory.

Also, I tried the ship once, drove me nuts trying to find my way around, then I found my way into a room with an enemy that did 4 digit damage or something to me. I promptly ran the pineapple out of the ship.

Edit: Okay, each of those old training areas have different levels of crowded. All of this has occurred around midnight-ish my time.

MP3 had at least 3 or 4 people on each channel stealing each others' kills. Regularly.
Magatia Lab has one or two Cygnus knights per channel tops, which is only irritating, not distressing.
Windraiders I checked out, and had a single night walker training there.

truckers- weak to lightning, dense spawn, perfect for thunder bolt. share map with a frnd, so you climb up and down less ;]

even tho truckers have less exp, the spawn rate is amazing and you can kill them easily for fast easy exp ;]

It's easy, once you get the hang of it. But if you are very lazy and have a family member in CWK, you can tele to them. Useful if you can't survive Elder Wraiths. Otherwise, just follow the guide MiSSHaku posted. It is a very useful guide, and is what I used.

@MiSSHaku : It is only very crowded at 2x exp events. Otherwise it is uber-easy to find a channel.

I'll try Truckers next time I play my I/L. I'm distracted by wind archery at the moment. I just don't like taking those hits constantly. I really liked Roids because I could just go back and forth, stand on a platform, and take them all down without taking any damage. Although I remember a few signs at Truckers that let me do that.
I can easily take a hit from Elderwraiths, with magic guard. As long as I just toss an elixir I'll be back at full HP/MP.
