The skill updates came with the last patch for jMS (July 29th's patch) and I haven't been using my Viper for the past 13 days, so I'm still getting used to the updates. Last night was actually my first time using them to train, so don't judge me too hard, as I'm still getting used to the changes.

B> Faster (1) speed cap. >_>

No version has that speed cap as far as I know. O_O Maybe it's the difference with WB11 instead of 1? I know it makes at least the TINIEST bit of difference.

Edit : Wouldn't (1) be 'Fastest,' not 'Faster?'

Of course,
you'd use that song Justin.

By fastest (1) speed cap i mean anything lower than what we have now. D:

The fact that you can do all that so well while only just getting it proves that it makes a huge difference.

And yeah, i meant fastest. :/

The same ones we got a while back. Lower DS/barrage/blast delay, all skills useable in transform, etc.

I'm not familiar with DS, but the CSB looks faster, while barrage looks the same o.o

So why were you talking about speed cap if it's the same as what we got o.O

It's hard to tell that there's a difference, but there is.

Also, it looks like drain is spammable in transform. :f4::f4::f4:

Sadly, it's not. :(

I wish it was, but it's apparantly supposed to be slow as fuck in Transform. =/

Pretty impressive, however u can try to take less hit when, after the 2nd combo of csb+ds, use barrage immediately, or, after the 1st combo set, u can try to charge about 10% of csb to start the 2nd set combo, then u can string 3 sets of combos of csb+ds without getting hit at all.

Not sure u understand me or not :f2:

Nice song from Dragonball Kai! :glitter:

Edit: Sorry i quote the wrong post lol

He suffers from lag because he plays jMS from the US, so cut him some slack.

Also, using a 3rd CSB + Dragon Strike wouldn't work because you then distance yourself too much from the mobs that were in front of you because the 2nd and 3rd CSBs won't push the mobs when followed up with Dragon Strike. At the 2nd CSB + Dragon Strike the mobs are already on top of you. If you do it a 3rd time you'll have mobs behind you, which will make for inefficiency because you now have to touch those mobs to bring them all back together, unless you want to give yourself more trouble by now having to turn the opposite direction to Dragon Strike and CSB those same mobs. A BSB + Dragon Strike works better because of this very fact.

You should have known by now why a 3rd CSB + Dragon Strike is rather troublesome unless you only kill in 1-2 hits since you're 14x.

<3 Dragon Soul Justin. +5 stars for you.

Not really. After the 2nd csb+ds, i can say that 90% of the time the mobs will be right in front of you, rather then in you. This is the time that makes you vulnerable to attacks if you csb again, and since the mobs are infront of you, chances of you bsb is 0%. So which means you will be hit unless you barrage, at least this is what i found out from experimenting.

To get 100% invinciblity (my personal challenge), i always do this:

*csb > ds > csb > ds > after the last ds, 90% of the chance mob is right in front of you, no chance to bsb, so barrage. If after the last ds, if csb again, 75% you will get damage > repeat*

or

*csb > ds > csb (charge about 10%, must release before you get hit, timing is important) > ds > csb > ds > after the last ds, u will be in the mobs if they are still alive, so bsb > barrage > repeat *

when i use these combos, and using mp recovery, im practically potless even at oblivion map 4.

Not showing off, but wanted to share with u guys the invincibility challenge of vipers/buccaneers :f2:

Nope. If you Barrage right after a Backspin Blow even if you're on top of a mob you shan't get hit. Wait, lemme get in game to confirm this.

Killing speed goes down a peg doing that. Yes not burning pots is cool, but when my killing speed is only about 60-70% of my 100% killing speed I cry. Going potless is only best at stuff like bosses, not training. I tried out going potless as well, but when I kill so slow because I'm using Barrage it starts making it not worth it. =(

*Also, you're right. I don't know what I was thinking about the 3rd CSB making you go too far. Augh, braaaain fart. It's the 4th CSB that starts making you go too far from the pack of mobs.

hehe i think its because im quite thrifty when it comes to training ever since i quit my drk for viper (Drk is too spendthrift on pots if cant 2hitko mobs...) Anyway, for me, the killing speed slows down a little only (about 1%+ exp lesser per hr) at oblivion. I feel that oblivion 4 mobs are too painful (+/- 4k dmg), and also, its a pain in the ass to go back town to repot from oblivion map 4, since i dont have a door mule, so i choose to try to go potless rather than spamming csb+ds, at least i can stay at the map as long as i want :f2:

No, you're not wrong. 90% of the time, the third time using screw punch and Dragon Strike tends to make me leave one or two monsters behind me (like in the video when I had to keep turning around to hit the mobs behind me).

I remembered that with maximum distance from the mob (assuming you just starting up a new batch of mobs to slaughter so knockback applies) the 3rd CSB will place you in the mob rather than leaving some behind. Of course if you happen to have a 4th mob you are trying to Rush, you will only be able to CSB twice before changing actions. Not saying I was wrong but his post had some merit on how the 3rd CSB will put you in the mob instead of leaving some behind that you need to go back to take damage.

*Example of 3rd CSB not pushing you too far of the mobs is in 3:14-3:20 of your 2nd video.

Wow, you inspired me to keep training my pirate.

You also inspired me to quit my cygnus >.>

With both transformations maxed, how long do you suppose you'd have to go without waiting for a cooldown?(I like transform a lot and cygnus's low transformation time really appeals to me).

But wow, double upper and bsb....

Man that was so cool!
