I've played AA, but never had the urge to go out and join the army. But, if it gets kids off of the couch, good for them.

It's a baby with a genetic skin disease called Harlequin type ichthyosis where the child has thicker than average skin which has a hard time keeping fluid in. So the skin winds up becoming incredibly hard, cracked skin, which is hard to move because it's not flexible at all [as opposed to normal skin]. (simplified explanation)
