Er. There is no link, I made it. o_O

It's a script for mIRC and it's still incomplete... it's missing mdef reductions (because I couldn't find a formula for that) and a good Heal formula (because we're all missing a good Heal formula). It also doesn't have Meso Explosion or any charge skills and I'm thinking there are some skills that deviate from the norm that I'm not accounting for in terms of wdef calculation or something like that.

EDIT: Oh, and piercing damage like Iron Arrow or Piercing Arrow. There are also wonky skills that I don't have special code for, like Arrow Bomb. Most of these would be well-suited to a custom calculator though.

Uhh, I guess I could release it, but I have an accuracy calculator with a nice amount of features planned, but I only started that recently. It's in the same file and I don't like releasing incomplete things. Plus, gathering credit for all the calculations and stuff that I picked up would be a bitch at this point because I figured my utility would be used by me and maybe a couple friends.

I'll work on that a little this week, I guess.

It's not a big problem or anything, it's just in spite of convenience, as said. By principle, if I'm going to give perusal to a Thief-flaunting thread, then I wouldn't care about Bandit/CB/Shadower damage. Given the aspirations of this site, when/if it grows into a bigger community, I might stumble into a page full of Bandit-flaunting, which in turn would simply waste my time. I know there are others with views as apathetical as mine to the counterpart class so the convenience as aforementioned is also on behalf of them. But hey, it's just a suggestion. Whatever floats your boat.

i wasnt always dexless and dex effects your attack range.

DEX, STR, AND LUK all effect thiefs attack range. Its just LUK does the best job changing are attack.

I'm done upgrading for a little while. Blew 70m on a Pumpkin Lantern so I could stop having urges to upgrade equipment; I need to train more. When I do upgrade, I'll be working on getting a 7 DEX nose. With MW I'll be able to equip a Dragon Kreda. When Timeless equipment releases, I'll up my DEX to 70 and equip one of those.

With Echo of Hero I'd have 2892~5168 range. I'm solid but definitely not near the top people. Then again, I don't put much time in the game.

I wanted some of Sammy's (PoIarity) gear but he quickly sold to others and didn't even talk to me. :/ His 83 craven was sold for a cheap 4b. I could have sold my rab and my cilbis to buy it. ;_; Then he sold his 20 atk scg to a friend who has been wanting it for a while (TheMsThief). D:

Right now... I'm much lower on funds as I spent a lot of money on friends. Otherwise I could get a 19 atk glove if I could find one. Though now they are completely too high cost. So, whatever... Only improvement I see soon is a 2 dex face. And if they fix the pendant situation like they did in KMS, I can reloot a new pendant as mine is 1 below in luk. I already have another egg sitting there.


I'm kinda mad at the helm dex scrolls out now though... My helm is +9 and it's only 24 dex. It'd be a 33 dex helm with dex scrolls. :/

This is far off from what I'm capable of, considering I'm still using an MS shield (16 atk =X) and black snow shoes. NovazStory bought the dragonkhanjar i wanted -_-" and I need the black snowshoes to equip the dagger for now (11 dex snow shoes). I'm going facestompers as soon as i can afford some 5/6 dex ones.

Assauler is 19,404 and Bstep is lvl 22. I can hit about 200 damage higher for each atk but thats the best I could catch on SS

I know once i finally get a dragonkhanjar I can't stay STRless but I like how my stat box looks for now XD

3200 is only 22 slots (5 1/2 rows) with Barbarian Elixirs it's not hard to have that much space if you expand it a little. I normally carry 12 slots of HP pots out of 36 total, I could go higher if I dumped some of the random stuff I carry around but 1200 lasts plenty long enough for me.

Try switching to FS + Craven. :f2: Btw, a 58 attack Black scarab sold for 1B (999,999,999) in Scania today so yeah your Scarab should be at least 900m. With 900 mil you can get a 62 att Craven. :heart: Good luck!

Alright, I've decided to convert to STR.
Lifestyles and Yoshi, would either of you mind if I asked for your STR and DEX equipment?

I dont mind sharing mine...uhhmmmm, just listing the str/dex bonuses from my equips.

22dex/22str from ht pendant, 3 str from top, 5 dex from face acc, 15 dex from the bottoms, 6 dex from shoes, 22 dex/16 str from zhelm, i think thats it i guess. 34 base str and 80 base dex, and 82 str(including the 7 str from khanjar, but i dunno if that really counts) and 150 dex with equips.

The reason I'm not a fandit anymore is because of how ridiculously strong lowdex/str bandits are. Do you see how much my range went up just by converting? I went from around 3800 max range at 125 i think, to over 4300 range just 8 lvls later.

Dexless sucks period. I'm glad I learned it and became a STR bandit, because (not to toot my own horn) now i'm one of the strongest bandits in GMS.

As you gain lvls and better equips in MS, the gap between dexless and lowdex just keeps increasing. Dexless is stronger at first, but quickly become weaker. The dex from a zakum helmet, HT pendant, dex bottoms, and shoes are nothing you can replace with luk. You can't trade the dex from your pendant + helm into luk, and you can't scroll your shoes and bottoms for luk. Theres so many leftover stats that you can take advantage of to make yourself stronger.

Look at it this way, the lucky 7/ TT formulas rely VERY heavily on attack. More than any other class.

I have 163 total attack.
A NL with a 60 atk claw + 29 atk c ilbis + 2 atk stompers + 4 atk cape + 14 atk glove = 109 total attack.

109 attack? Thats not much total attack at all. Due to NL's formulas, having anymore attack than that would make them unrealistically strong cough apples cough.

Thats why the most attack will ALWAYS win, and why it should be every sins top priority. Since, every friggin attack point matters.

I would love to see a dexless hermit outdmg FantaTwist with the same amount of mesos spent on equips.

no theyre not. its so much easier to scroll a 60atk scarab than a 60atk skanda. cravens and sleeves are always dropping. skandas stopped. skandas are now either blowing up or being finished up; like maple shields. plus, even with a 50 base dex, 60+ atk craven users are stronger than dexless skanda users... because the skandas are only in the high 40's and low to mid 50's. they cant compare to 60+atk cravens.

a 55 attack skanda is NOT the same price as a 60-61 craven. It's not even close.

An avg skanda is 33 attack, so you would need 22 more attack over average to get the 55 atk skanda you're talking about. An avg craven is 46 attack, add 22 attack to that?? 68 attack.......

If any NL in this game wants to trade their 68 attack craven for a 55 atk skanda PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE tell me. Comparing a +22 atk scrolled skanda to a +14 atk scrolled craven is hardly a fair comparison, considering the craven will be much much cheaper.

The strongest NLs in the game are NOT using skandas/musashis for a reason. It's not because they're stupid to not go dexless skanda user; it's because they're smart enough not to go dexless skanda user.

The reason a dexless bandit has a better chance to be as strong as a normal bandit is because bandits dont rely as heavily on weapon attack as hermits do. They can have slightly less attack, but make up for it in luck equips. But in the end, they too fall short after they've maxed out the weapon attack they can squeeze from their fan/kebob. The difference in hermits is that their damage formula makes every single attack count.

As i've already said, theres so much to be taken advantage of dexwise, that it doesnt make any sense at all to be dexless. Everything you can scroll for luk, you can scroll for dex too, but the same can't be said vise versa. It will bring up your damage range alot more to give up points in luk, to gain points in attack, rather than give up points in attack, to gain points in luk.

55 Skandas are about 900-1 bil in Scania. You can get a 62 attack Craven for 900-1bil easily. Like butterfli said: Go play with the numbers and calculate. Like DrRusty said: attack > LUK. Minimum Damage: 1334
Maximum Damage: 2338

DEXless Hermit's stats:
25 base DEX + 20 = 45
500 base LUK + 68 = 568
4 base STR + 20 = 24
4 base INT + 20 = 24
Total w.atk = 106 (56 + 15 + 4 + 2 + 29 (c.ilbis))
Using the damage calculator on hidden-street,
Minimum Damage: 1243
Maximum Damage: 2240

Correct me if I made any errors please. That proves that Low DEX with ~3.2B funding is stronger than a DEXless with 3.3B funding. Look at the clean Zhelm + no HT Pendant. If they both had about 500 mil to buy a HT Pendant, and 200 mil to scroll their Zhelms to 27+ DEX, the low DEX would obviously be stronger since he can switch to a 64 Craven (since it's about the same price as the 61/3 LUK Scarab).
I actually have a 60/3 LUK Scarab instead of a 61/3, and a 4/6 LUK PAC instead of a 4/4. I made those changes because a 4/4 LUK PAC is 100 mil less than a 4/6. I could use that 100 mil to upgrade my claw. There are many equip combinations that will change the results so I guess my calculations don't prove too much.

My calculations probably aren't that accurate because of the prices. There are many possible equip combinations that could prove that DEXless > low DEX and vice-versa. I probably could've calculated with a Craven instead of a Scarab and gotten a better result. But yeah, that was without a scrolled Zhelm, and without a +1 HT Pendant.
It's too hard to calculate with good chaos scrolled equips because they aren't in the 3B range and I would have to think of numbers again. :f4:

Ahh, nice. I wish HT Pendants only required 110 levels. :[ I'm never going to get to 120 so I'll never be able to equip a HT Pendant. There's no point in trying to upgrade for me anymore. :f4:

Update in regards to my NL:

Let's just say, I took a chance at .. -rounds it up- 1 billion mesos. Sold my Scarab, and attempted to land 2-3 30%s on a couple cravens. Most I've managed to land was 1 30, all 7 Cravens blew to kingdom-come. >_> I have 120m left, lulz. >___>;;; There goes the "was"-semi-godly Kasuhitomi.. <___<; I'll fund a bit more until I attempt to scroll more Cravens, but I'd rather scroll than buy any day.
