Quest tips

At this very moment i have 32 quests left until my medal. After the easy ones that i'll finish within the hour, i'll have 27 left. Basically i'm just wondering how the hell i can get those last 27. Every quest i have available is really hard and time consuming/impossible. @_@ (Alphonse green/blue mushmom, anyone?) Is there anything i've missed that's easy or triggers that unlock a lot of quests? I got the note from the trash can in the nautilus, but i think that's about it.

Well, in MSEA they raised the drop rate of the Nependeath Honey, so the quest is really do-able now. Did Global do the same?

The last quests i'm finishing up are world tour/singapore quests.

Would it help if i SS'd my available and in progress tabs?

You probably know this already but if you click on an active quest you will see that each bar is divided into sections, each section counts as 1 towards your medal. So you should have more than enough to get your medal.

The trash can one should have opened up about 5-6 quests starting with killing 80 Stone Golems and finishing with killing Macis(I think).

There are a few quests on there that may help you, they're mostly "re-acquiring" quests, but they helped me towards MY medal.

If you have collect 100/200/300/400/500 quests to do, those are really easy to complete. And yeah, that trash can thing opens up 4-5 quests.

By the way, i started a few quest chains i knew i'd never be able to finish (jay's curiosity, alphonse green) and i got a lot of quests out of the way. Now i'm at 11 quests till my medal.

Edit: Nevermind, forgot i needed to do every single quest. Guess i better go BF toe hunting.

Yeah, i think it's like 35 actually. :f6: It was one of the first things i did since i really wanted to be able to get all cures for my guild zak runs. :heart:

I just hit 135 so i'll probably look for help for killing all things oblivion as well as lyka. I really didn't want to do it before since i'm way too weak for oblivion things even at 135. </3 So that'll be 5 quests.

Your thread is broken i think. Spoilers don't show anything, but yeah i saw that. I did the reaquiring the ludi medal one but i didn't try any of the other ones. (especially kenta, little money grubbing f'aggot >.>)

Edit: Yeah, i already finished all the magatia stuff before i knew about all that, so i dropped my capes and nothing happened, and i can't do the triple de lang notes since i already finished that. </3 Woulda got me my medal if i did that though. >.> The saddle is the only thing i can do.

A couple that helped me but didn't show in available were the Monster Card bonus quest (once you collect 5 cards, it's put in progress. Talk to Tienk to complete it) and the iTCG information (show John Barricade set 1-2 items and you complete a quest immediately - you could borrow these, since he doesn't take them)


I also compared my Completed tab to the Quest Whore thread, sections where there's a big difference means more quests available.

Wow all of the quests you have left are majorly time consuming. I think you should really try and knock off the Alfonse green quest. It counts for MANY and you could get lucky with the honey.

The Sakura Garden is another easy but time consuming one that you should do. You just have to collect a bunch of uncommon items, and since less people train at Sakura Cellions now, it's easier to get the branches. It has at least two parts.

I did the alphonse chain up to where i had to get the honey and/or 30 sap of ancient tree. No way in hell am i getting that. I got a fair amount of quests getting up to that point anyway, so it's not that big a deal. I'll try the sakura garden though. What about cupids courier?

On the flip side of this whole thing, if i don't get the medal by the time the patch comes, i'm sure the maker quests will tip me over.

I can't say i don't really want the medal. This whole thing is like a boredom trip turned addiction. xD I had 300 quests 2 weeks ago. Now i have 789. :/ You don't even wanna know how much money i've spent on useless crap all for a 2 stat medal. xD

Forgot to mention. Just buy a Newspaper hat and turn it in. You get an overall DEX 30% which should cover the price of the hat.

Stop The Speeder, Monster Rumour Mill (what part of this are you on? It's got like 5 - you should look it up on Strategywiki to see what items you need before doing it), and Estelle's Syrup are probably the easiest ones you have left.



And if you complete the Henesys PQ once, it'll go into your In Progress and then into Complete after a day or so.

Ingredients for Tae Sang may be doable too, I forget which exactly that is. The worst for me was the one that required 50 Bellflower Concentrates.

I tried doing it when i got it, which was around 2 AM PST (5 AM for me), and i didn't find one. The 72 hr spawn time makes it pretty much impossible unless i sit there all day. @_@

Yeah, I managed to buy about 9 by hanging out around the PPQ entrance map, eventually I gave up and went on my DK to do it. Got about 15 per PQ once I figured out which monsters dropped them it didn't take long.



I just happened to have about 800 Lycan toenails on a mule, that's what I get for never throwing anything away (I hunted them in August 2006 when I was level 93 @_@)
