But how would you like it if someone pretended to like you, only so they could have sex with you? That's the point of this thread.

heh, thanks Ryan.
So, to explain the OP more, my ex only used me for sex. He told me he loved me, turned out he only wanted my dick in his mouth ;|, and the girl I'm talking to, thinks that sex is the basis of any relationship, and she only goes into relationships so she can get laid.

For some people, Sex is the strongest basis in a relationship. If thats what makes them happy, then that should be ok.
Sorry you got used, Myles.

That's what people assume of me by the way i act on the internet, which is actual bullsh'it. IRL, i'm one of the straightest gays you would ever see.

Yeah, really. This is why I'm weary of relationships; too many peoples' motives are based solely in lust. Granted, there's nothing wrong with sex-addicts, but it certainly doesn't make it easier to find anything meaningful in a potential partner.
You know, I'm not against casual sex. I'm against those people that make love promises for sex. Screw you, let's just f'uck and move on with other business.

Most people basing their relationship mostly on sex will most likely leave their partner faster than people who don't. Not that I have any statistic on it, but it's applied common sense.
But basing the relationship on no sex would most likely be worse. At least when you're older. You should find a middle-line. Don't fuck on first date or earlier, and don't fuck for the first time at your wedding-night or later.

This. Definitely nothing wrong with two consenting individuals (or more?) who enter into a relationship for sex.
And the terrible thing is, people know when they're dealing with someone serious versus someone who's up for one-night stands, f`uck buddies, or casual sex...I can't stand when they purposely chase the wrong crowd just for a chance at some pussy or dick.
While sex is important, and it can and SHOULD have the power to make and break relationships, it's not screw-n'-run.
