If the Attack Speed reference chart is correct, max booster and a fast board will yeild 105 attacks a minute with normal attack.

well, i havent been paying much attention to aran, but after looking at a few videos and skill tables, i find myself interested in them. Only one question a few various searches didnt seem to yield is about their HP gain. They have no skill to increase but looking at the pictures and stats in this thread it seems higher then most normal character base hp gain, am I correct in that?

I looked at the hp difference between the first two pictures, since they seem to have the same medal, and so any hp/mp diff from medals would be negated. From those two, it was like 47 hp a level. And just over 7 mp difference(but int gear would make that guess off). Is the hp gain per level naturally like that? Cuz I could definitely see myself playing one of these, and if the hp is good playing to a high enough level/hp washing to go to PB.

Both. Like, 95% of the skills you have to use the arrow keys and atk key. Some require to use arrow keys/triple atk then press the skill's hotkey.

It's untradeable and unscissorable, why not just storage it between characters? :f6:

I don't think anyone's going to make 2 lvl70 arans just to test that out.

But by wearing facestompers, you'd have to take off your other shoes. This is literally free attack from nowhere with no strings attached, and since most characters don't have any rings on (or at least any "useful" ones, though I know wedding rings have decent stats in KMS). From the point of view of someone in GMS, a ring that adds something besides magic defense is a pretty good boost.

That's with SE, which is a ridiculous increase to anyone who has criticals. plus he could have had a combo before this picture, the damage boost from a high combo doesn't disappear the instant the combo ends.

Depends if it says that it is a "One of a kind" item. If so, you would not be able to have multiple rings on one character.

With level 1 critical I hit 21k on a combo smash at HHG. No SE. I wasn't using an attack pot and I only had 30 combo. My finger wasn't fast enough to catch it though, and I wasn't able to get it again. Critical just don't happen enough at level 1.

A 109 Karstan is end-game potential for a polearm, given that it's normal speed. It's equivalent to a 123 or so Zedbug.

A fast (5) speed PA adds about 12% to figure out what it would be if normal (6). Same rule applies for normal (6) to slow (8). Normal (6) to slow (7) is less of a dramatic difference.

So a 100 Bain = 112 Karstan = 125 or so Zedbug.

BF no, unless they get rid of the invincibility frames.

Tengu will be tough since there's no platform to stand on for tengu so he'd be able to attack eventually. The cabinet platform is probably too far away from anego...

Still, the Aran basically just pushed him into the corner, told him to shut up, and then just beat the living hell out of him until he died. I'm still in awe at the raw power.

But even when you can constantly KB a monster (like with Hurricane), it doesn't stay stuck in the KB animation. It still resists you. It still fights back. Hell, most of the time, it just moves back without showing the KB animation because it's too busy doing its own crap.

correct, they use warrior equips + polearm. I would assume they would need the same stats as warriors as well.

I think it was only 8K because:
A) it may have been level 1, or;
B) That was before the alteration.

I thought smart knockback was just a skill that lowered the damage needed to KB a monster... Constant KB'ing for other classes will not produce anywhere near that result, as a NL I would not be hit once on bosses like Papulatus in that case. Of course the majority of its attacks misses anyway, but he sure gets to attack as much KB'ed or not.

I think it's mostly from the SE. I saw his normal att hitting 75k...

A) it may have been level 1, or;

Eh, all these Aran videos seem star pretty well funded people. The equips she has in the video up there put her above even a 'decent' GMS player. Being about equal to 18 atk gloves, 10 PAC, 6 FS, 10 MoN and then a fair amount of extra STR from those accessories. And most GMSers use warrior elixers, not ciders (I think that's the 20 attack CS buff there isn't it?).

It's not nearly as hard to get yourself a setup like that GMS as it would be for something comparable in KMS, granted, but it's not like every Aran out there is going to be doing that kind of damage.

I just am well funded for KMS. I don't have a lot of stuff a lot of Koreans have though (attack belt, chaos pendant with atatck [well, I had one but I ruined it with a second chaos], and a few other stuff). Also, I have snow charge (level 12) which adds a decent amount of damage. The largest chunk of that though comes from critical.

Give it a 2hour limit (very reasonable) or lower HP amounts per part by half (essentially the same thing, it cuts run time down by half). Black Mage doesn't have to be a damage wall, if done creatively it can be very challenging without requiring massive power boosts. There are selective things I'd like to see (reducing stabPA/slashSpear penalties, reducing ultimate damage (or adding a mandatory cooldown when not using infinity) and increasing Para/CL damage) to balance classes based on the current maps we have, but a power boost to put all classes on par with Arans is not necessary. Aran should not be this strong to begin with. Cygnus can get away with being strong because of their low level cap, but Aran can reach 200, so there is no need for them to be OP.

Outlaws were considered strong for quickly hitting 10-14k in their 90s on a single target. Arans can do more than double this just as quickly and on multiples. Even single target they are OP'd.

I kind of doubt an outlaw the same level would come close if the damage is even a third of that, but I'll admit I know little about the class so far. A 4th job Aran looks like it will wipe the floor with a Corsair, or any other 4th job class, though.

Dragon strike would be the Bucc mobbing skill, no? And for Paladins, their main attack is a single target one (blast) and I'm not really sure how good the hammer is for grinding, but it sure ain't comparable to ultimates.

I don't see why the range matters that much. When you're HH + rushing, you're always 2hkoing a max of 15 monsters at once. Shadowers do what? 4hko 4 mobs at a time? Should be pretty obvious that paladins will thus circle a map much faster than a shadower. (i'm using oblivion 4 as an example by the way)

Provide me a shadower with experience with this because I find that awfully hard to believe. B step has a 1 second delay (1.6ish) and you could fit a BOT in there. 4 Bs' per mob PLUS taunting would definatly do more harm than good.

If my DK had Blessing it'd have the same w.atk as you, but with nearly 60 less str. :/ I do have higher acc but not enough to compensate for that. I guess when I make an Aran we'll get the new blessing system, and I can go dexless, but there's still ~30 str difference in your gear and mine >_>

I think it is mostly because I scrolled my overall for STR. Other than that, I think you can get all the other stuff we have, or you will get it i.e. the ring/medal. You might even have overall STR scrolls, idk.

You can easily get that medal as early as lv 16..

Lv 10 polearm and enough Accuracy at ZM can net you that medal in no time.

It's the medal/necklace/belt/ring, and your shoes are better. I think between those items my DK gets 4 str and you get 20. The ring/medal may come to GMS later, and you have chaos'd belt/pendant going on which is expensive in global. I've just been lazy about my shoe, really, I have the resources to get a 7-8 str one but I didn't think about it.

yup it's a really good place for aran since they have no magic attack and Body Pressure will seal their body damage. so, no damage at all.

This girl gets something like 2% in two minutes and 30 seconds, which is like... 48%/hr? At 9x's, that's pretty damn broken for a non-cygnus. I wonder what the solo exp rates are for Himes and Galloperas. I know they're godly but I want to know some real numbers here :f5:

Im not sure if Aran damage range formula is the same im assuming yes. If so your stronger then most PA dark on basil. And those are pretty nice equips maybe upgrade the WG. And isnt chaos cheap in KMS if so go chaos a Pac I believe you guys have pacs there or something like that.

We don't have PACs :f4: And a WG upgrade will come very last because that is the most expensive thing to upgrade per attack.

I hate dojo, and a few STR/DEX isn't very alluring for all that work. I'd rather just save up my mesos to buy a better PA/attack belt.
