Will this be enough for DEXless?

Well, Cygnus is going to be released on July 29th in JMS (most likely the same day as GMS), so I'm preparing ahead of time for my future Soul Master. I started with 600m in pure mesos to buy equips and I've spent quite a bit so far. My current equips are :

Helmets : 7 accuracy brown bandana (for level 10 ~ 70) / 10 str, 10 dex, 10 luk, 10 int, 10 accuracy Zakum Helmet (for level 70+ [we don't have 15 stat helmets])

Mask : 1 DEX 15 accuracy Wow! Fox Mask (for level 45+)

Earrings : 8 DEX Gold Earrings (for level 80+)

Top : 16 STR Blue T-Shirt (Level 11+)

Bottom : 15 DEX 5 Accuracy Grey Pants (Level 11+)

Shoes : 2 DEX 9 Accuracy Warrior Snow Shoes (level 30+)

Cape : 4 STR 3 DEX Pink Adventurer Cape OR 9 DEX 1 Attack Pink Adventurer Cape

Gloves : 10 Attack White Work Glove

Level of Blessing : 15 (+15 attack and +15 accuracy)

Sword (so far) : 11 STR 3 DEX 83 Attack Japanese Map & 10 str 116 attack Devil's Sunrise

Will this be enough for a decent DEXless Soul Master? If not, what should I get to get more accuracy? If I can't pull off DEXless, I'll try LowDEX. Thank you for any help or tips. This will be my first low-stat character ever. Lol

I think level 15 Blessing should be enough to get you through the first job doldrums where you don't have the level requirement for your accuracy gear.

You would have 82 accuracy with a Sniper Pill and the DEX cape at level 50, which should be all right. You wouldn't be the best CPQ character, though, because avoid up is a huge problem with less than about 120 accuracy.

I'm more worried about 70+, as you will have 97 accuracy (even with a Sniper Pill and after 80 for those DEX earrings) without your DEX cape, which is problematic. You would need either a good DEX overall or to scroll your Zhelm. Is it feasible to scroll Zhelms in JMS? :f6:

Low accuracy would be a big problem if you wish to boss once you hit 120, since you will be hindered by your level. As an example, with 97 accuracy, you can't 100% hit Zakum's 3rd body.

EDIT: Are there any good pendants in JMS? I notice you haven't listed one. I assume you at least have Horus Eyes... I know that JMS has had problems with Horntail, and you don't have Deputy Stars.

A Bathrobe might do you better good that the top and bottom you have there. The speed boost will help speed up your training/whatever you do to level up.

It would need to be a pretty expensive bathrobe to compare to that stats that he's getting from that top/bottom he has.

Dawn masters are much more mobile than the usual warrior due to soul jump or w/e.

I can get Maple swords, since the Maple Anniversary for jMS is in August anyway, then I at level 80, I'll use a GeSword, which is a one-handed sword that gives 95 attack and 30 accuracy clean. I can probably easily afford a 110+ attack one. Then, if I'm in need of accuracy for when I equip my Devil's Sunrise, I can raise my DEX a bit.

Try to get earings that will last you until Lv80. It'll make a difference.

Except is Requires 410 str at lv 80, which I think is impossible w/o STR gears.

A Pure Str at level 80 would have 400 str, impossible without any equips at all, yes.

But if you're Pure Str you're going to have a Zakum Helm for sure which adds 15/10 which gives you enough.

Yes, up until 70, Cygnus gains 6 AP per level up instead of 5.

wierd, that's what i got to (at 50):

dana: 7 acc
mask: 15 acc 1 dex (22 acc 1 dex total)
bottom: 5 acc 15 dex (27 acc 16 dex total)
shoes: 9 acc 2 dex (36 acc 18 dex total)
cape: 9 dex (36 acc 27 dex total)
sword: 3 dex (36 acc 30 dex total)

if i'm right, for warriors 1 dex=0.8 acc, so:
30*0.8=24
24+36=60
ADD TO THAT: 15 acc from blessing, 10 acc from pill and 20 acc from max mastery (you wanna go DEXless and not max mastery before 50? :f6:)

you'll get to:
105 acc @ 50 with a sniper pill, dex cape and max mastery.

EDIT: forgot to add 4 dex base, 108 acc total.
EDIT#2: @120, with 8 dex earrings and 10 dex 10 acc Zhelm, and without the 3 dex sword, acc=123, correct me if i'm wrong :)

you'll be fine with even a 20 dex overall (that should have some acc on it), a ZHelm, a decent soul singer and an attack shield. some 8~10 acc shoes would add alot. also, try to get a dep star and at least a 6 dex cape. if you can get a mask, that would be awsome. (if you want to hit stuff even with avoid up, you'll need a good mask, shoes and maybe a better overall.)

Totals: 49 Dex, 14 Luk, +74 accuracy = 49*0.8 + 14*0.5 + 74 = 120.2 base accuracy.

I would raise to 20 base dex around level 100 for an additional 13 accuracy, but before that you'll probably be fine.

Edit : Oh yeah, and if I add in my Spiegleman Pendant, Medal, belt, and possibly a wedding ring, that'd be about 8 ~ 9 more DEX/LUK added on. Maybe that'll give me enough to stay DEXless and have enough to hit Himes with a Sniper Pill.

Himes are 125 acc so not a problem. Other stuff is higher (135-139 acc on most 90-110 stuff, 149 for Crimson Balrogs, 163 for Cornians, and then up to like 175 in Time Temple).

Edit : Oh! It requires 126 to hit 100% of the time. Hm... I'm still going to aim for 139 ~ 145, though, since I might train at Skelegons as well.

i assume that at himes you'll train with a priest to cut the potion costs aswell, so count in 10 more acc from bless.
but yea, if you wanna go to skelegons you'll need more acc. id say go for the GeSword for something that needs more acc.

unlike you, i'm trying not to count days till KoC. i'm not prepared at all for my soul master (i need alot of stuff, and i have allmost no money. so i'm trying to make some money from the super inflation we have at gMS, and still waiting for maker, for shield funds.)

Huge bump, but I did some recalculating with some new gear that I got and I am now able to go full DEXless. :D If Karma Scissors are released, I'll be able to transfer my Red Belt to my Soul Master and that'd give me plenty enough accuracy. :D By level 70, I should have this :

10 dex 10 luk 10 accuracy helmet = 23 accuracy
10 dex earrings = 8 accuracy
1 dex 15 accuracy mask = 15.8 accuracy
5 dex nose = 4 accuracy
15 dex 5 accuracy pants = 17 accuracy
9 dex cape = 7.2 accuracy
1 dex 1 luk pendant = 1.3 accuracy
4 dex 4 luk belt = 5.2 accuracy
1 dex 1 luk medal = 1.3 accuracy
15 accuracy (blessing)= 15 accuracy
20 accuracy (mastery) = 20 accuracy
2 dex 9 accuracy shoes = 10.6 accuracy
4 base dex = 3.2 accuracy

total accuracy: 131.6

Would it be worth it to pay for leech on my Parent character for the additional acc/attack if I'm going dexless (to like 80/1oo?) My parent character is currently level...35. Lol.
