FTP/data extracting and all that stuff oO

I'm a complete noob when it comes to all the work that Fiel and alot of other MSers do when it comes to the FTP and data extracting.

Im just curious as to how it all works? What exactly is the FTP, and where does everyone go to find all these pictures of things that our in our data, but havent been released yet.

Haha, hey DrRusty. And gratz to Fiel on his new site. The FTP is the same one you all know and love. The pictures are all inside the various data files in the MapleStory program folder. They are encrypted tho, and only those who know about it can decrypt it and extract most, if not all, of the data contained in them.

They dig through the .wzs. You need some amount of cryptology knowledge and coding knowledge in order to do it. I will figure it out, eventually.

I dont know a thing, I just extract the version I have downloaded....I havent figured out FTP stuff yet

Patch notices are in here. They seem to have become useless lately, I think they put up actual patch notices for a bit, but .. ?? @ the useless version release notice.

I have the link to the old FTP too, but it seems that it's since been taken down.
