1. Bigfoot - knockback animation
2. Papulatus - heal animation
3. Firebrand (1st form) - stand animation
4. Bodyguard B - no stand animation hitboxes (and wrong hit animation)
5. Wolf spider - last frame of move animation
6. I.AM.ROBOT - 4 frames of attack animation (invincibility frames = intentional?)
7. Electrophant - last 3 frames of attack animation
8. Leader B - knockback animation (missing a whole image frame, not just hitbox)
Please post any i missed. dont know any more.

2. Papulatus - healing animation
I believe that's the only one acting as intended. It's like a small break, where he can't attack or be attacked, and I wouldn't want it "fixed" even if it would make us improve our damage. It's just... Part of its charm.

Have Wolf Spiders/Extra D been fixed? I remember those being complained about like 30 patches ago.
Yeah, I'm outdated, sue me.

healing animations without missing hitboxes:
zakum's healing arm
faust
pianus
what else heals.. some part of horntail ought to...
it may be part of its charm, but it annoys the hell out of me personally and no other healing animation has a missing hitbox. if they all did it, it could be intended. but nexon surely has lazy programmers, and omitting a hitbox is less work for the lazy.
edit: thanks russ i knew i was forgetting one. extra d got fixed a patch or 2 after showa came out.

Wait, you mean when it's shielding itself, right? I don't find it annoying at all. It's like a little time to chat with others very fast, rebuff, repot, etc...
In fact, when shielding, it's like if it was just that, shielding itself from attacks. I agree on each and every single one of the rest. Bigfoot is totally broken now, Showa is a glitchfest, and even though Firebrand and Wolf Spiders are less noticeable, it's still annoying. At least with Papulatus you know when to not attack.

No, the shield =/= the healing animation. They're completely different, and the shield is supposed to not be attacked.

Margana has a healing animation that can be hit. And on topic of monsters that have INTENDED invincibility frames, Hsalf's jumping animation.

Elder Wraiths were fixed as far as I know.

They used to, but I think you have to attack reaaaally fast to be able to miss through their knockback animation. :f6:

It's currently impossible to miss an elder wraith. They were fixed completely.
I think the bosses except Bodyguard B are fine the way they are. Bigfoot's supposed to be a challenge. If there was a way to make it harder for warriors that'd be cool too, but I dunno how that would work without simply raising its damage, which is stupid. Papulatus's missing heal hitboxes aren't a big deal.

Only fix Firebrand and Wolf Spiders pls.
Make the bosses more challenging. :f2:

Pap's heal might be that way for all we know. It's been like that since forever, and more evidence that it is so if KMS and JMS have "bugged" paps.

That's what I wanted to have clear. Ok then, if it's something impossible to notice, and doesn't make any sense, well, would be better if fixed. But I never really noticed before... Maybe he doesn't cast it that often.

I.AM.ROBOT - Attacking animation.
Not 100% sure, but I seem to be unable to attack them sometimes (if not all the time) when they fire laser.

On my way to Crimsoonwood Keep, I attacked a few Firebrands to check which animation is missing a hitbox. It IS the standing, not the moving.

The Green ghosts in the the library have some kind of missing hitbox. I think its somtimes when there moving. But I'm not to sure.

No, that's evasion done properly. You can't attack those ghosts when they go transparent, only when they're solid. I dunno if Nexon screwed up and forgot some hitboxes on their solid-state frames, but I don't think so. Those ghosts are like one of the unique monsters Nexon America made and did right. Not the LOLCANTTOUCHDIS for absolutely no reason that some people like cause it adds "challenge." lol

I like the challenge but I don't like the poor implementation. Maybe they could change Bigfoot's frames with no hit box to look transparent or darker (like he's ducking into shadows) or something. That'd be cool.

Exactly. I would be perfectly accepting of BF if that was the case. Currently, he is more challenging because Nexon is a bunch of idiots. Forgetting hitboxes is retarded. Either fix them and make him easy to pin or create some special animation (like you said) to imply he can't be hit.
Leaving him the way he is is absolutely retarded.

Hell, making him jump like Hsalf would make sense. He does have ridiculously large feet afterall.
Leader B also has a few missing hit boxes iirc

I don't like it because it happens when you KB him, not because of some skill he uses. If he was using some shadow trick to get close to you (and you could run through him during that time) it would make sense. Him being unhittable when he's KB'd? Doesn't really make sense. He looks like he's stunned, but he's also invincible.
And because it's during KB, it happens literally every 2nd or 3rd attack. It doesn't make him more dangerous, it makes him take 50% longer to kill. MS already has a problem of bosses with stupidly high HP and they just sit there taking hits... we don't need more of that.

It doesn't make him more dangerous, it makes him take 50% longer to kill.
I disagree. Before the most recent changes, this was true. It was quite easy to kill by any high level class and only took extra time because of all the attacks missing him. Now, however, his missing hitboxes make him a great deal more dangerous. Whatever Nexon did to make him more aggressive, when paired with missing hitboxes, has made him insanely dangerous. I can't attack BF anymore without it gaining ground on me rapidly, when I should be able to pin it no problem. Heck, I would even gladly take the previous BF back, where I could at least control it with Puppet.
They need to decide what they want to do with BF and do it RIGHT. If they really do want it to be fast and hard to hit, then do it... I don't care if you make him fly for Pete's sake.

Only thing I noticed is that his magic attack does as much damage as his touch, meaning my Paladin dies even if I could keep him pinned. PG won't help me against 12k magic...
And I did solo one on my Hermit, I couldn't pin it all the time because it's the first time I fought one, but I did find a way to pin it. It just fails as soon as someone else enters the map, with all the leechers going around that happens quite a lot. And it's difficult to get him up against a wall without constant KB. But eh... he would be pretty easy to duo, it's easy to aggro him and have 1 person on either side.

i tested leader b's jump, stand, walk, and attack animations and hit him all the time. i dont believe this one, but if you can be more specific ill take another look.

with good def bf's magic does 1. without it does like ~100. youre prolly getting touch damage that you cant take unless the last time you tried to bf was when they were "fixing" him. i died strangely a few times during those updates.

There was a glitch before that caused his magic attack to do ridiculous damage, but that's since been fixed. As the poster above me said, you're probably getting touch without realizing it. For whatever reason, BF's touch range is much larger than its actual body, so if you're anywhere near the little lollipop thing, you're a goner.

Yeah, the lollipop's a fucking bitch. I died 4-5 times the first time I fought him before I realized that his lollipop was smacking me for 12k.

Coulda been during that patch, I only go near BF when I'm at or near 0% and that hasn't been a while. In any case, it's easier for my NL to kill it so I don't feel the urge to go near it again.

Electrophants - Magic Attack animation, it is either altered to be moved far in front of it, or it is gone completely.

one of the leaders in showa is missing one. it's easier for a bowmaster to see missing hitboxes than any other class... even though most of them are blatantly obvious.
basically i hit with two arrows, and the third (which would have killed him, the first two were 4k arrows) just flew right through and the 4th killed it. if that's not a missing hitbox, then i dont know what is.

Is it possible to "miss" due to a missing hit box and kill a different target?

while pondering your post and mazz's i realized there was one animation i hadnt looked at closely: kb animation. so i tested it. unfortunately... its hard...
however, after giving up and heading to nlc to look at electrophants, i realized i could kill them slower with powerstrike.
leader b is missing an image frame in his kb animation, and i assume that wipes out his hitbox as well. fuck nexon for leaving spinel out of nlc.
I can confirm that the last three frames of the Electrophant's attack animation has no hitbox.
Wolf Spiders - the last frame of the "move" animation has no hitbox
Bodyguard B - No hitboxes on "Stand" animation - at all. This one might be intentional (he's laughing as he stands still). He also has the wrong "hit" animation, lulz.
I.AM.ROBOT - has four invincibility frames in the attack animation

im going to guess that whether BGB was intentional or not, no other version has it like that, so our version is messed up. motives are hard to decipher and showa has a past history of being screwy relative to other versions.
thanks for clearing up the uncertainties :f2:

I noticed several more missing hitboxes:
1. Extra A. The last frame on one of his attack animations is missing a hitbox.
2. Extra B. Can't be attacked when being knocked back (mainly being frozen, in this case.)
3. Leader B. The last frame on its standing animation is missing a hitbox.
4. Firebrand (1). The last frames of its standing and moving animation are missing hitboxes.
5. Male Boss. Some of the frames in its summon animation are missing hitboxes, and sometimes is missing hitboxes after recovering from KB.
6. Female Boss. The last frame of her slap attack is missing a hitbox (not much of a big deal.)
