"An Incident, and the Missing Alchemist"

I've read guides on this quest, so I know what to do. Anyways, as soon as I got to the Dark Room, and I did manage to get to where the GREEN SPOT <NPC> is at, I pressed my NPC Chat hotkey. It didn't work or do anything, nor did it end my quest.

I had my NPC Chat on 'End' on my keyboard, finding this strange, I went back to Magatia to test if my NPC Chat key worked, and it did. So I went back to the Dark Room, and put my NPC Chat button on D, didn't work. Tried it on S, didn't work either. So I'm not sure if this is a mistake on Nexon's part or what, but I can't finish that quest now. I tried clicking, I tried NPC chat, nothing works. Also, I had 10 ETC slots, and 3 USE slots. So I have no idea why I couldn't end that quest when I hit NPC Chat, while I was standing right next to the 'green dot on the map', or right on it. Anybody else had this problem lately? :f5:

I JUST had this problem last night in KMS. Still haven't found a solution.

I thought its click-box was just really small. Something like you have to stand on the green dot and click slightly above your head. I don't remember for sure. It's been discussed a couple times here.

Personally, I've never had ANY trouble clicking the NPC once I get there. So I don't understand. I do know NPC Chat button doesn't work on it, though.

This happened to me as well. I'm assuming you got right next to the NPC by doing that JQ in the dark. When you get next to it, try clicking. If it doesn't work, move a little to the left or right. My friend, who was doing this with me, was a little to the right of it and couldn't get it. Just keep wiggling and clicking.

When you're standing right on top of the green NPC mark, hover your arrow slightly above your head until you can click on something, which is a very, very thin hidden NPC.

That worked. Thanks! So yeah, you DO have to stand directly on the green dot, and click slightly above your head. That was rather annoying.

This was a recent problem if I recall. When I did this quest, I just pressed the NPC chat key xD

Now Nexon rigged the NPC Chat function so that it doesn't work on every NPC. I mean, it's the "find hidden NPC" button so to speak if it worked on every NPC. But this way, now you'll actually have to find NPCs by waving your mouse around instead >_>

Stand on where the green spot is on your mini-map, and say something. The you click the area between the chat balloon and your head, and you've got it! The same thing happened to me with that NPC chat button thing.

What about the "Zenumist and the missing alchemist" quest?
I can't find the NPC to click on the house... there's 5 nps, 3 pipes, a picture and a book, but none of them gives me the item to clear the quest or anything

Yeah, they disabled that function of the NPC chat to talk to hidden NPCs. :spook:
