9 Month Banned Players Released

Thanks to the efforts of GM Vector and GM Ceris, along with the Customer Support Team, we have decided to give certain players the benefit of the doubt and release their account. The original purpose of the ban was to prevent malicious abuse and hacking such as auto-clicking, spamming, etc.

Unfortunately any account released from this ban is not eligible for compensation. As stated in our Terms of Use, accounts that have been blocked or deleted are not entitled to any refund for any used or unused Nexon Cash or Cash Items.

The accounts that have been released are specifically for this issue only. However, these accounts will be closely monitored and any further instance of abuse and/or hacking will result in a permanent ban.

Any other account that is still banned will not be released as it was suspended for a separate reason.



We appreciate the loyalty of our players and we thank you for your patience while we investigated this issue.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Additionally, this msg also states that they ban for autoclicking (dunno how often they do that) so those who do it should... be a bit more careful I guess?

When I first read that, I assumed that there was a screwup by Nexon and they've decided to unban people who've committed minor offences or were wrongfully banned altogether. Yet, it seems that they're releasing pure hacker cheaters back into the game? That is a bit lame.

On the other hand, it's nice that Nexon believes in giving people a second chance. I just wish that those second chances were given to people who are more deserving. My guess is that Nexon is hoping that the upcoming Masteria expansion will keep everyone in good spirits and will deter cheating, but I have the feeling that even this is just wishful thinking.

Just reread that and Im wondering, does this mean everyone in the recent misbanning was unbanned or all banned people in general?

There is definitely a GMVector bot.
I sent in a ticket about me getting banned for killing pg hackers, and a response by 'GMVector' came one second [or less] later. :redface:
