"Joss's latest foray into doing something unique and musical has arrived. Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog premired yesterday, and it is hilarious!
Dr. Horrible is a three-part webshow available for free until July 20. Part 1 was released yesterday (July 15) at midnight. Part 2 will arrive on July 17th at midnight and Part 3 will get here July 19th at, you guessed it, midnight. You can view them on http://drhorrible.com or download them from iTunes for 1.99. After they are released, each part will be available until July 20, after which they will disappear, only to reappear in DVD form sometime in the near future, "with the finest and bravest extras in all the land." Comments on the site indicate that the commentary will be its own musical. More information can also be found on http://doctorhorrible.net/. Dr. Horrible also has official Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook sites.
The show starts Niel Patrick Harris as a fledgling super villain trying to gain admittance to the Evil League of Evil while being thwarted by his nemesis, do-gooder "corporate tool" Captain Hammer, played by Nathan Fillion (Serenity, Season 7 badguy on BtVS)."
