Ever since guilds were added to Maple, I have searched for a guild that was active and allowed for friendly interaction between members, yet was literate and the members did not use Netspeak. Most guilds I've been in thus far are quite immature, with a lot of high school gossip style conversation, spam, and net-speak (as in "u", "r", "ppl", "wut", "plz", and so on and so forth). The Netspeak aspect is my biggest pet-peeve.

Age does not matter so much as literacy and (overall) maturity.

I'd like to find a guild that I can stick with for however long I can play on Maple. I'd like the guild to be more of a family than a random collection of individuals that never meet except to go on sporadic boss runs that most of the guild members can't participate in due to level. As I work full time, I cannot commit to going online every single day to play, and I admit that I am not the fastest leveler in the world! When I am on, however, I like to help other Maplers and spend time training with and doing quests with fellow guild members.

A guild like this PROBABLY doesn't exist, but hey, I can try, can't I?

My characters are levels 71 (my hermit) and 57 (my cleric, soon to be 58.)

I am also looking for literate buddies as well. ^_^

I suppose you could try Nautilus but you'd need someone to recomend you into that.

Them is pretty close knit. We are basically known for being a very close group of people. We do have certain girls that type in a certain way, but its only so they look cute or whatever.

Warfare is full of fun people, as is Unoriginal.

Then again, you could join a guild with bad grammar and make it your personal mission to get them to all type correctly

Final Note: Guilds like that do exist, they are all just full, or not looking to add more people

Well, I would suggest you check out my R> post above. The name of our guild is TheLiterati and it appears we are just what you are looking for. We require the ability to communicate clearly and in proper english. We allow no drama and we are an online family. If you can, take the time to visit www.the-literati.net and read over our rules and the about us section as well as check out my post.

If at that time you feel we may suit your needs, contact one of the listed Jrs. or myself and we would be more than happy to proceed to the final stage of membership.

I look forward to speaking with you, if you feel so inclined.

And hey, if it does not work out on the Guild front, I am always looking for active buddies. My chat is clean and literate.

Thanks, Fem.
